Can anybody help with the problem I posted about previously? I really want to use this program, but everytime I do Firefox freaks out and I have to restart my computer for it to work again.
i honestly have no idea what would cause that problem or i would help out mate :/ i'm using Nightly and i don't have any problems with it
I believe it will be the 700-series (e.g. GTX780, GTR785 (That was a rumoured card from a slide)). Anyway, stick some waterblocks on that GPU and MOAR OC.
NOTE: I'm so happy that CentrallyProcessed is jelly of my card. My day has just been made =D !
I would that, hell I would by 3 more cards and get a 4-way SLI going, but the MSI GTX 580 Lightning Xtreme Edition is no longer made. It was a limited edition card and when I bought it, was the fastest single GPU card on the planet =D ! Also, there are no water blocks available for this card sadly cause it is a non-reference PCB, plus I have no experience in water cooling ):

I've probably spent an hour now trying to find an answer, but I can't find any mention of someone else having this problem. It's bugging the heck out of me. Also, how do you get the Client Control screen that shows folding progress? When the program was I able to run, I couldn't find any GUI windows like that.

Nobody's perfect, so neither is Hannah Montana Linux, but it's pretty great.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.

Hmm. Why does it make your day? I am popular or something?
Also, not so much jealous (Though, I am slightly envious of anyone with a decent PC, as mine sucks), more impressed.
Well I sorta look up to you and your vast computer knowledge, which hopefully some day, I will also have :tongue.gif: I'm a geek who wants to be geekier <-Is this a word?
Here's a pic of the insides of my rig :tongue.gif:
Would my i7-2600k and MSI GTX 580 Lightning Xtreme Edition help any?
Out of experience, the 580 is a fast folder. An of course, you can't really get a better processor unless you go Extreme Series or Xeon.
EDIT: Woah, Super Ninja'd. And that is why you always look to see if new pages have been made.

Woot, I'm going to let Fold@Home run when ever I'm not using my computer or I'm in school =D! Hopefully by the end of this week and next, I will gain 1st in our team.

Is there a way to change the processor load for a specific slot? I would like to set a higher max percentage for my gpu and a lower max percentage for my cpu. Whenever I try to do that, it changes the max percentage for all slots and I would like to be able to use my computer while folding.

You could do a universal block for the chip and cool the VRAM and other stuff... somehow.

Yes it is! I'm hoping when I turn 16, I could get enough $$$ to buy another rig and fold off both!
Also, this is what my build looked like in its old case (Antec DF-85)

I think you got ninja'd to death :tongue.gif:
Yeah, lol, I had been gone for an hour and refreshed the page but didn't look to see if new pages had been made.
How do you like the frio?

It's awesome! Cools like a champ! Going to replace fans on it soon with blue LED ones!

With your 580... SMH.
The 7 series is better at folding GCN is better at GPGPU stuff then VLIW4.
Only because Nvidia help design the program.
