CPU: 3930k GPU: 7990 PSU: TX850Wv2 Case: HAF X Cooler: H100 (I like it) HDD: 1 120GB for start, and 6TB for storage. Mobo: Asus Rampage IV Extreme RAM: 16Gb
I used -
Windows ME (Grandma's computer)
Windows XP (All the family computers for a few years)
Windows XP (Primary School)
Windows Vista (My Laptop)
Windows 7 (Secondary School/Home Computers)
I would rather use Vista though, 7 changed the feel too much. I also want to get a Linux OS for my next computer, and a distro called MineOS for a minecraft dedicated server.
Windows 3.1x (Amazing 2 gig HD :OOO)
Then Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows XP Professional
Linux Fedora
Mac OSX 10.6.6-10.6.8 (I'm typing this on my MacBook)
Windows 7 Home Premium (Favorite, 3 tereabytes and 8 gigs RAM vs. above 2 gig HD and some 256mb RAM :tongue.gif:)
Linux Ubuntu

._. Yes another internet sig. Click and win minecraft!
Windows 95 then, windows 98, windows vista, windows xp, windows 7. I love windows! though I might start to explore Linux.
I've only used Linux in the past for VPS'/Dedicated Server hosting. I didn't really get it at all. But if you do eventually start using it, message me about it. I'm pretty curious about Linux my self.

Started with Windows 95 on my dad old laptop. Moved to 98 when we got a desktop. Then to Windows XP when my dad upgraded his laptop. Then to Vista when my mom got her laptop. When I got my own laptop I jumped ALL over the place. Main OS was OSX then various version of Linux, then back to OSX and now Windows 7 on my laptop.
Also, I know my fair share around linux. (CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.) Basically any bash based console I can command. Woot for server hosting. Helped me pick my planned major of Database Admin.
I used to do the same, save I would also hold down & because I had never seen an ampersand before.
*sigh* Childhood <3, a place where I'd rather be right now </3.
But anyway, my Dad's old laptop still works, the screen is busted since it fell off a shelf, but amazingly, he got it to work. We can open all the files and whatsoever, its truly a treasure :tongue.gif:.

I first started with Windows 95 at home. I mostly played computer games like NHL 99 or Triple Play 2000 (I know weird, we did "upgrade" to Windows 98 after the 95 computer died). So Windows 95, then Windows 98, then I got to use an Apple II at my school. I didn't use BASIC or any of the programming, it was just for educational programs. But still, it's cool that I got to use it. Then it was Windows XP, Mac OS X 10.5 (family bought a mac), then it was Ubuntu 10.10, 11.04, and finally I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit now.

2 or 3 months.A long-ass time.Oh boy, visual basic. I can barely contain my excitement. Not.
Same. I think I was 2 or 3. I would go to Microsoft Word, hold down I or H and pretend they were ladders.

And I plan to get either Mint or Debian soon.
Its pretty surprising how technology/things can last so long if its taken care of.
Usually laptops now won't make it to 14 years.
