Pretty sure it was windows 98. Maybe even older. I can't remember as I was young when I first used a PC. The earliest one I can remember using was a 98.
Win95.
Then 98.
From then, XP
Vista
Mac OS 10.3/4 (Only in school)
Win7
Mac OS 10.6 (Family library)
Ubuntu

I'm proud of my heritage.
Heres my history:
Windows 95 (Dad's laptop).
Windows ME (Dad's new Desktop).
Windows 98 (My first computer).
Windows XP (Family computer, then given to me).
Windows Vista (Birthday Computer).
Windows 7 (Gift for getting in Honor Roll).
Its safe to say, I have a big spot in my heart for Windows computers.

Used or had even a basic understanding of? I seem to remember playing One Must Fall as a kid, and that was a DOS game, but I don't remember anything else about DOS. The first ones I gained a little bit of an understanding of were Windows XP and Ubuntu 10.10 at roughly the same time.
If any senator wishes to read this, I suggest a SUSA bill. Stop United States Act. If the internet needs to babysit your lawmaking, Then there's something wrong.
I think it was Windows 3.1 that I first used. My dad had a laptop from work and it was just a DOS prompt. You had to type "win" into the prompt to get Windows to boot, but I didn't know that, so I just kept typing my first and last name repeatedly :tongue.gif:
Then around 1996 we got an HP Pavilion with Windows 95. It had a Pentium 1 processor, 32MB RAM, and a 4GB hard drive. Eventually we got Windows 98 and then XP on it (skipped ME/2000). I just remember playing a ton of NASCAR Racing 2, Sierra Pro Pilot, and Sim City.
Then around 2002 I got a Dell Dimension 8200 with XP and in 2003 a Dell Inspiron 600m laptop, both with XP. Since then I've always upgraded to the new Windows as soon as it came out.. Vista in fall 2006 and Win 7 in summer 2009.
Whats the first Operating System you've EVER used?
Mine was Windows 95.
