I can always upgrade the 6670 to closer match the i-3

I built my own computer in 2012, Specs are: Intel i3-2100, Amd radeon 5570, 8GB of ram, 500GB Hard drive, Antec One case, Z77A G43 Motherboard, OCZ 600W PSU. Windows 7 64 Bit.
Also I have a youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc9Bi9r4UPZbAWyuRKBJeoA
I like to play games on steam like Garry's Mod and robocraft.
Why are disk drives so expensive on pcpartpicker? A good one on newegg is $18.
And thenerdal, please stop posting if you don't know what you are saying.
I honestly don't mind people posting but he like trys to sway people away from anything I say and it's getting -irritating-
I shouldn't have to write a school lesson on why my parts are better than your parts, ugh. If we're gonna play the argument game then he is welcome to battle it out with me.
I can always upgrade the 6670 to closer match the i-3
Why do you bother saying you have a budget if you're gonna go over it?
If you want to match the i3 then get a 6870 or something better. A 6870 would be about the low end of the i3's power.
That's not always true, an i3 can beat a Bulldozer with 4-6 cores on some apps, more cores aren't a huge percent increase, and if the architecture on each core is significantly better, it is much faster.
Not as many apps as you think are multithreaded, even these days. Usually only programs like modeling, office programs, or AAA games are even threaded.
It depends. Most games use 2 cores. But Going from 2 cores to 3 cores will be more efficient. It gets less efficient as you add more cores.

You realize you just contradicted yourself right? You said going from 2 cores to 3 cores will be more efficient, but it gets less efficient as you add more cores. Sorry, it's just that you worded that a bit weird.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.

I just based that off of a Anandtech article i read some time ago. Guess Anandtech is wrong.

I'm saying for the build I'll get a 6670 then maybe for Christmas I'll upgrade the GPU to like an 6850 or
6870 like you said.

Or he could just follow my build, which is still superior to yours. I'm glad to see you didn't even read it either, since you're still using one RAM module.
Really, just stop.
I'm not talking about hyper threading either, programs can't use more than one core unless they are THREADED. You obviously don't know what threading is.

There. Got a better case, that's a bit cheaper than the Cooler Master, also downgraded the GPU since I don't think he needs a 6770 since he said he's just going to play Minecraft, also got a cheaper optical drive: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/5KJL

Are you going to keep this up all night, until your build matches mine?
I just don't even know..
Your build almost matches mine now except the PSU is still better for the money, and you put more expensive components in it. Why ae you trying to post a more expensive version of my build? You didn't even change the parts I would change.

It's a decent gaming build. I changed the CPU to yours though. Not gonna change anything else. Seems like it's fine like that now: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/5KLj

You don't understand how threading works at all, do you?
I'm assuming you're talking about hyper-threading? If so. That's not very useful to gaming.

Here's the motherboard: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813128539
Price: Around $470. A bit more then your budget.

There. It's similar to your build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/5KFn
Why does it need to be similar to my build if my build is better in every way that I can see? Why can't he just use that one?
The case still sucks, the RAM still sucks, the PSU could be a bit better, just stop. Also, 32 bit Windows?
I'm combining both of our builds.....
Fixed the ram, psu and windows. Explain why the case sucks: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/5KHn

It's tiny. It's also cheap. If it only fits a MICRO atx board, how do you think the airflow is going to be?
Ah, wasn't paying attention to the size.
