Razor Mamba gaming mouse is a must. just thought id bring it up. also, load that thing up with as much RAM as it can handle. normally id stray away from liquid cooling systems, but that sounds like it'll get really hot, so you might have to look into getting one.
Really, is it always more RAM = Better; past about 8 GB most people wouldn't notice a difference.
If you look previously, I posted a picture of the same case with decent cable management. As well, he will be using a modular PSU that will eliminate a lot of the excess cables.
It wasn't nice cable management in that Antec case. You basically have a wad of cables stuffed in a hard drive bay and optical bays. A case with good cable management has plenty of room behind the motherboard tray to route all cables for a much cleaner look and better airflow. Even with a modular power supply it won't look as clean because of how little room is behind the motherboard tray.
The DF 35 is simply lacking in features that most other manufactures add for the same price. Basically no cable management for the PSU or front header, isn't tool-less, has extremely cheap plastic covers on the drive bays, no vent for the PSU, no USB 3.0 and I could go on and on. The fact is it's a horribly overpriced case and even case that cost half as much come with better features.

Take a step back for a second. If you noticed in the picture, the massive excess of cables was due to the PSU having extra cables. He went with the modular set up and wont have this issue. I had no issue finding room behind the motherboard panel for everything that was in use.
You obviously never seen a case with good cable management. The only cable from the PSU you even have running behind the motherboard tray is the 8pin. Technically I think it's just under the motherboard and not behind the motherboard tray. You might have passed some of the front I/O behind but it looks like they're just under the motherboard also. I think if you've worked with other cases from company's like cooler master, corsair, or Lian Li for example you wouldn't have a hard time saying just how terrible Antec cases are or at the least acknowledged the cases failures.
A modular PSU will help but it wont magically make the cables shorter or cut holes in the case to pass cables through. When cases have holes along the bottom and sides of the motherboard it looks much cleaner and you can hide everything.
It's like talking to a brick wall. Do you need glasses to see the cables tucked behind the motherboard tray? I've been doing this more than long enough to know how to wire a damn case. I regret not using cable ties on this build, but all cables in use were properly dealt with. I'm not on here to argue with you about my case-building skills, I'm here to give advice using my own previous experiences with these products.

It is like talking to a brick wall. I'm not talking about your case building skills. I'm talking about the failure of the case. I'm not saying you don't know how to wire a case properly. I'm saying the case doesn't allow for good cable management. It's simply a poorly made case compared to other cases. Stop taking everything so damn personal. You act like you work for Antec or something.
well after a long time more of looking at different cases on newegg, and reading your conversations a lot about how important cable managment is, ive decided to take a good look at the CM Storm Scout, its sort of a compromise with the styling of the K62 and some of the features of the DF series, i dont need hot swap so it doesnt have that and it does have 5 5.25 bays so more then enough space for a drive, fan controller if i want one, and even a liquid cooling reservoir if i ever decide i want to liquid cool (probably wont ever happen but you never know. PLUS its only $89, $79 with rebate.
Note: my truck is fine, just a glitch and im still looking at purchasing a system but im debating waiting for the AMD 7XXX series, NV 7XX series, and the Ivy bridge line, do you think wait for this stuff or just try to get my ducks in a row and buy now with the risk of being outdated in less then 2 months (if AMD could keep there **** together it would be outdated already haha!
I say keep the 750W PSU. If you don't Have enough power, your computer literally will not work at all. And try looking at the antec 902 case. Other then that it looks good
THE CM Storm Scout has more room behind the motherboard tray but it still doesn't have the greatest cable management being a older design. Ideally you want to have a hole near the end of the PSU to pass cables through. Another hole near the bottom right hand side of the motherboard for the front I/O. Yet another hole near the middle right side of the board for the 24 pin. A small hole to pass through the 8 pin near the top left or above the chassis frame but this one isn't as needed as the others. You can always run it up through the cpu cut out and over.
The new AMD HD 7970 is gonna be released on the 22nd of this month I believe. The HD 7950 on January 9th and the mid range cards later in the month or start of February if no delays happen. All of them will be a bit more expensive then the current cards since they will have no competition for a few months. They are powerful enough to wait for.
Ivy Bridge and Z77 boards are scheduled to launch in the 2nd through 4th quarter of 2012. It's a much longer wait but might not be worth waiting for if your just gaming. The 1155 boards will be backwards compatible with IB but with a little bit less features and you will be able to upgrade later if needed.
The i5 2500k with a $60 cooler can reach 4.6-5GHz safely and stable for 24/7 usage depending on the chip. It's more then enough for any gamer for years. The way technology works your gonna be outdated every 3-6 months if you want to stay near the top. So, if you want to wait or not is up to you.
thanks that helps a lot, what case do you recommend then, a 902 is nice looking but the price is a little out of my budget, 750W modular is certain, i think maybe ill just wait and see what AMD brings to the table and go from there, if it ends up like the bulldozer then im staying way away from AMD and resorting to the slightly more expensive 560Ti. i think i5 2500k will be the route to go, in a few years i can pick up a Haswell chip and Mobo in 2013 (the chip after Ivy Bridge) and then just slowly upgrade part by part and then maybe one day in like 5 years i can have 2 custom rigs, a LAN rig with old components and the midhigh range up to date rig. also, i dont really think ill be OC'ing beyond 4.2-4.3 anyway so air will be the route to go until i really have the $180 to spend on a liquid kit.
sorry should have mentioned that, my price point is below $100 so these all fit right in, but then again i dont want something thats gonna last like 3 weeks and then fall apart. I do like the phantom 410, ive seen it before but i didnt know what the heck it was called, i really like it along with the HAF 922, the carbide 400r looks like it has nice reviews but i like the more aggressively styled cases (phantom 410, HAF series) but i think im gonna look a bit more into the phantom 410 and see what i think.
EDIT: Phantom 410 = not available in newegg Canada, ill look aroud but really dont want peices coming from more then one place.

Poor cable management.
Good cable management.
