What image editor do you use more often of the three listed above. If you use a different editor more often than any of those, please post what it is below!
And if you want links to the download pages for these programs, simply click their names below: Photoshop (There is three different Photoshop downloads on that page) (Depending on what Photoshop you want, you may have to pay.) Paint.NET (in browser download link, for ease.) (Free) Gimp(Download Page, so you can choose the language it is displayed in) (Free)
I use paint.net i dont do too much graphic editing but I guess when I do I use that. Its what I've always used. It supports mc skin editing and is user friendly so yup. lol
I prefer Paint.NET (or Paint Shop Pro) for pixel art and Photoshop for everything else. Gimp is fine, but Photoshop really is vastly superior. I think it really depends on what you want to do, but overall, Photoshop is probably the preferred choice.
I prefer using Gimp more then Photoshop. Never cared for paint.net. However I have lately fooled with Inkscape cause SVG is awesome since I am always scaling up and down. Hooray Gimp though, does not cost a arm and leg to upgrade.
Btw, you left out Corel products, Painter 11 or similar is fun.
and wrong section. Computers tech and science this should be in.
EVERYTHING we created is technology, so half the posts in this section should belong there. But good point, this is my first thread, so please excuse my mistake.
If you don't vote Photoshop, then get out off the internet.
It's does everything GIMP and Paint.net does, and way more. Photoshop is superior. Trust me, I've used every program I could find, including GIMP and Paint.net, and Photoshop trumped them all.
If I have to choose another program. It would have to be Paint Tool Sai.
Photoshop CS5. before that, Paint Shop Photo Pro X4, and before that Paint Shop Pro 9. I still have then installed and use them for my old images if I need to change them (can't be bothered to convert them to psd's)
Honestly though, GIMP is free AND it's much better than paint.net, so really...
GIMP has a long way to go before it has even remotely the capabilities of, say, Photoshop 6. And it's user interface is hilarious because it reminds me of Visual Basic 2.0, with a billion floating toolbars and toolwindows all over the ****ing place.
You really should change the poll question or your first post because one asks which program is best and the other asks which one you use the most which are two very different questions. Photoshop is obviously the best of them all, there's no arguing that. The one I use the most though is Paint.NET because it's free and much easier for me to use than Photoshop. Btw I have a Mac with Photoshop as well as Photoshop Elements on my parents computer, but I still prefer to use Paint.NET on my own computer. Mostly because I just like messing around with image effects and what not so I don't have a real use for Photoshop yet.

Nobody's perfect, so neither is Hannah Montana Linux, but it's pretty great.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.
Most people would agree that the paid one is the best (not always true though). The question i'm wondering is that if you have GIMP, do you need Paint.NET? It's been said that GIMP has more features so that means it should have everything Paint.NET has.

I was waiting for someone to say that :biggrin.gif:
Paint.NET IS THE BEST EVER! EVERYONE BUT 2 PEOPLE AGREE THAT VOTED!
I grew fond of it.

I know, right!

Then, ill give paint.net (easy/quick to load up), and have some fun with that..
Then PSCS5 when I feel like I have to get to business.
