I volunteer for compiler. Ideally I will sit around all day drinking your coffee and playing hobby games, occasionally taking a break to compile your code.
We Don't Need One XD Since we're going to use Source but we still need Modelers and Scripters
I've seen people trying it a million times, but I've never actually witnessed someone succeeding. I'm impressed! He must have had a very strong game concept. Is there a web site for this project?
It was actually kind of stupid, honestly. No offense to the guy. It's something called 'Zombie Quest', and the only details he's released have been the fact that it's a 20+ hour RPG about zombies. Ugh. I've talked to the programmer working for him and he says that the idea guy is alright, the programmer is mostly doing it for fun though.
I thought you said you needed a modeler, but you seem to have some pretty pro skills there...3d modeling is only one step from squiggles on notebook paper...
You obviously have no idea how three-dimensional modelling works.

I've always been this way. A patched-up, crazy matryoshka.
Whatever I'll just create a Forum so we can Talk There about it and not Get Yelled At By a Dude who thinks He Knows Everything
I can't take you seriously with that capitalization. We are giving you constructive criticism, and unless you provide proof that something's going to come out of this, you won't get very much positive reinforcement.
Basic FPS is not mechanics. If you can't be original, your game will blend in and do terrible.
When you make a true, real game, you have word documents filled with stats, information, writing, etc. You need to make some sort of document to show what exactly you want. When I say exact, I don't mean "zombie shooter with an AK, M4, and vehicle..." I mean
"AK-47
Damage to hulk zombie:
4 to leg, 3 to hand, 6 to arm... etc" Even more detailed than that really. You can't just go off of ideas and expect to get something done. You have to prove this is a project you want to do. Starting a forum thread here without any details will not help you. Start a mod page ModDB, get a website going (not a stupid .webs one, but a real, true website). If you originally were not planning on using the Source engine, maybe you should learn more about it before jumping in.
There are hundreds of factors you have to take into account before even beginning a project as massive as an FPS. If you want to make an FPS quickly, go out and buy yourself FPS Creator. I've spent enough time in Game Maker and Multimedia Fusion 2 (developer) to know that making a project this large is not easy and not worth your time if it isn't original, you have no skills, and/or no support from others.
If you want a professional job as a designer, you need to design things that will impress developers (not large-scale projects such as FPS games), networking, and perseverance (a Game Designer job is probably one of the most competitive jobs out there).
Everyone is giving you the advice you need: Start small, work your way up.
I'd suggest filling out a GDD (Game Design Document) or something smaller since you're only making a mod. But with a GDD you'll have more of an idea of where you want your project headed. It'll also make it easier to recruit people since they see you have a clear idea of what you want.
But on a more positive note, I've worked with SDK's Hammer and I've models from Blender to it.
I can't exactly say I'm joining your team, working on my own game, but I can spare some time to model and help you out.

Decide on the mechanics first, they're far more important. Do you even know what you do in this game?
Its Going to be a Basic FPS

Basic Meaning A Game like TF2 (No Story I mean) just a Normal FPS
a normal fps is only slightly more specific than a normal game...
Zombie Quest, a 20+ hour RPG about zombies with no story. This game is going to just fly off the shelves!
That doesn't help at all. Where's your information on weapons? Enemies? How the combat plays out? Controls? Locations? Objectives? NPCs?
You need to think out your design much more
...?
