I'm looking into making a hackintosh laptop and I would like to find a laptop that it fairly similar to Apple's own Macbook Pros. One main feature I want is the all-button trackpads like the Macbooks have. I do not know If Apple has copyrighted this or not, since I have yet to see any PCs with that same feature. Another feature that I would like but is certainly not necessary is a backlit keyboard. The graphics and processer don't matter too much, just as long as it can browse the internet and run Minecraft and some other non-intensive games smoothly. Once again, the main feature I'm looking for is the all-button trackpad, but a backlit keyboard would be nice as well. Thanks in advance.

Srsly. What you are looking for never going to be made. EVER.
You cannot build a laptop. Build a desktop.
Why make a laptop for mac OS x? Why not just build a PC for windows????
You make no sense. You obviously have put no time into looking into information about your problem.

It is already made- check the Macbook Pro. I'm simply asking if anyone has heard of or seen a laptop that functions similarly. And I already have 2 PCs running Windows so I don't need a third. Also, you can build a laptop if you put your mind to it.
I've seen various Dell models using backlit keyboards, might want to look around there. A one-button keypad is definitely apple-only and I'm 99,9999999% sure you won't find any that's windows/linux compatible.
I don't actually own that mouse, but some of the reviews say that it works under Linux and Windows.
I have one of these mice, they have horrible battery life. If you can't find a laptop with an integrated trackpad that's all-button there's Apple's trackpad, which is the same as the ones in their laptops, Link. it's wireless but it's pretty expensive, and it also has poor battery life, there's also Wacom's touch pad that's USB which is $50 but I've never used one so I don't know if it has a physical click Link.
I'd actually recommend against all-button track pads and mice, like the ones Apple makes, if you're doing something that you need to left and right click at the same time, it doesn't really work. All-button trackpads and mice have limitations.

because windows SUCK in everything except gaming and overclocking
a one button trackpad gets loose very easily and the ones from other than apple r plain crap, i like a standard trackpad better than a 1 button crap
if you want, theres nice laptop such as the HP envy with backlit, alienware M series and the new 18" aspire ethos with a REMOVABLE trackpad+backlit (it's true, i've tested one of these before)
don't buy macs 4 gaming, even if you have the $$$ the thin profile and lack of expresscard on the 15" model (forcing you to buy a 17" with no performance offset for more $ just o get an expresscard)(for vidock), expansion port for a 2nd HDD and/or other things would make a mac unsuited for almost everything you do
I used to have a Mac before I ever had Windows, I hated it, I couldn't understand it, so I got a Windows, now I have Windows 7 and I'm the best person in Year 7 & 8 at my school in the UK (I'm in year 8 after the summer holidays finishes) so yeah, Mac sucks, and OS X Lion is just another huge let down, 2 of my friends have it and they HATE it.
You couldn't understand Mac OS, think a dual core is better for gaming and that a i3 + integrated graphics can run Metro 2033 on max? What are you smoking?
I think it's a let down in some ways (Rosetta, minor changes), and a massive improvement in other ways, but hey, I haven't even used it yet, so YOU tell me.

Desktop? Totally worth it if you like getting your hands dirty.

One button keypad? Sounds about right.

Was that even English?
Prove it. Herp Derp.
Ok, this might be one sentence, but no, run-on sentence
sgalore! You couldn't understand Mac OS, think a dual core is better for gaming and that a i3 + integrated graphics can run Metro 2033 on max? What are you smoking?
Cool story bro.
How is that related to your choice of OS?
Don't need to know that, but thanks anyway, I'll go put it on 4chan.
Proof? All I've heard is that you are too stupid to understand it, and *that* is why it sucks?
Elaborate.

Again, it's them, not you or us, and you give no reasons.
