Thanks! I might go with this build since it sounds good. Is there a way to shave a few dollars on the RAM though. I believe earlier in the thread, someone said i wouldn't need 1600mhz RAM and would only need 1333mhz. Maybe i could just spend the rest of my money on a monitor. I don't want to downgrade the GPU just for the monitor, and the downgrade on RAM seems much better.
I would get the HAF X, but i think that it's slightly over my budget. :tongue.gif:

The only good Brand from TigerDirect is Corsair for RAM. And there's barely a Price Difference between 1333MHz RAM and 1600MHz RAM on TigerDirect. So go with the RAM already listed, and you might get some more Money for a Monitor before your about to order.
Oh, and I do think there is a difference between 1333Mhz RAM and 1600MHz.

I think it's better for Overclocking?
Well i don't know how to overclock so yeah. If it isn't a big difference, then i'll keep it. I hope to get money for it. I also hope that my current monitor will work so i can dual monitor. :biggrin.gif: But i don't want to risk it, so i'll just get a new monitor. Or i can get the PC, build it, and then try it with my old monitor. Either way, all works good.
There actually is the same PSU that was in my original list: XFX Core edition 550W
I would highly recommend getting that. Great specs and 5 year warranty from XFX. You know it's quality power supply.
There is, if you change it to 2x2Gb. Even 4Gb is more than enough for all these days games, I don't know where would you need 8Gb. And, it's the most easiest and cheapest thing to upgrade so no problem there :wink.gif:
He is getting 8gb of RAM because he will be making videos and editing them

I dont see how it has better cooling and better airflow....
The HAF 912 doesn't have a 200mm fan, which makes a huge difference in cooling. And the HAF 922 just has more room for air to move. I mean try fitting a GTX 570 in there without removing the HDD cage. The HAF 922 can fit any current desktop graphics card, except possibly a 6990 or 590, which is stupid to get anyway.

Man, how come whenever I try to find the damn things, they never come to me.. :/

I wouldn't go with that power supply. Especially with a GTX 560 Ti. I would recommend anything from Corsair, Antec, or Silverstone. This is a good one. If it goes over your budget just downgrade to an HD 6850. A GTX 560 Ti is overkill for the games you're looking to play anyway. I would also recommend buying the parts off Newegg, they have better deals.
Why wouldn't you? Do you know how good is it? I bet you don't. 80 plus bronze, Quality components, Japanese capacitors, 5 year warranty. Speaks for itself.
And why do you recommend him bigger power supply? Do you know how much computers even use power? That 550W is easily fine for that rig and even better one. It will probably use something like 300W on max load.
You haven't looked at this have you? Don't think so. The power supply you told him to get is a tier 4 power supply. And it only outputs 75% of it's advertised wattage. I know that a 550w power supply could easily handle this build. I only recommended it because it's good quality and it isn't expensive. He can downgrade to an Antec Basiq 550w if he want's. But it won't last as long as the Antec 650w.
Oh for **** sake... I'm terribly sorry. I should really go to sleep :biggrin.gif: I remembered that Infired linked the same products as I did, but he changed the power supply. I recommended XFX Core Edition 550W, I've been talking about that all the time here... You're absolutely right that the current one in the list, Cooler master, is crappy power supply. My mistake....
I want to get the HAF 922 and the XFX 550w, but it goes $6.92 over budget. I also have to take shipping into account. I won't be buying it anytime soon. Maybe in the next 2 weeks i will. I will most likely be getting all those parts w/o downgrading anything. I'll try to get another $150 to cover the monitor and tax. We'll see. Thanks for all your help. If there is anything else to j03's build that we improve (price, performance, quality), then go ahead. I'll keep you guys posted about the budget. Then when i get the parts i'll keep you guys posted about that. I might need help anyways. :tongue.gif:

Well, if you really want to save money, you can go for a MSI P67A-G45 for the motherboard, but thats about it. Its an awesome build that will take you a long ways.
One more thing. You should probably try and find a good deal on the ram, because sometimes you can find a deal for 8GBs that costs about $60, and unless you plan to try to do some tight timings and such, you might be able to lose the heatsinks on the ram.

Thinking about coming a mod to simply not moderate.

Yes, very true.

Edit: It isn't even 80 plus certified, lol.
+1 for the XFX 550w :wink.gif:.

Newegg, anyone?
Indeed.
Can't. Doesn't ship to where i live...
---
Well, i might be able to add another $150 to cover shipping plus a monitor. Should i just find the one ReKz found for me?
No, even if you are planning to buy off Newegg, get _j03_'s first suggested build.
Why? Because Phenoms are outdated and Intel will always be better.
How much are you willing to spend on a Monitor?
