All that comes to $477.93 and includes pretty much everything you need except for a cd or dvd drive, which I usually scavenge from old machines. If you scavenge a case from an old machine, you can save some more by just getting a decent power supply to go with it. The motherboard has 4 channels for memory, so the 4 GB included in the setup can easily be double to 8 GB for another $50. Also, you can upgrade the processor to any AM3 chip. For serious gaming, you may want to get a better video card, but the Radeon HD 5570 is a pretty good place to start for a budget build and will handle minecraft with ease.

+1 for you for that un mate, but i'd maybe bump up to a 6870 if he wants to spend the extra on a PSU / GPU, would be able to run pretty well on most games

Well, i have about $500 more dollars. If that can be improved, then please do. You don't have to maximize the budget though. Also, on newegg, i saw a bunch of 4x2 8 GB memory for around $60. Would those be better? Is the build you mentioned good for gaming? It's fairly cheap, and i've heard the more you spend the better the computer.

Do you have anymore suggestions? I want this to be a computer that will last and will do what i need it to.

That is a solid build for your money
Now if you wanted to lower it about $50 you could change the model of the GPU but i highly recommend that model
i have it but with a gtx 560.
EDIT: i removed the mouse and keyboard + put the Ram in the list
You do know he needs a Screen, Keyboard and mouse right? So an extra $150-$200 then your build goes over his budget :sad.gif: Like i said my build will do the job :smile.gif:

I would switch the 922 to 912. Same amount of space, cheaper and has better cable management.

I'm looking at both builds now. Actually i have a keyboard and mouse that should last a while. I have a monitor, but i'm not sure if it's compatible with the computer you guys are showing me. they do have to be compatible right? You can't just have any monitor.

As long as you have the right cord, if not then you might need a adapter. Do you have a Lcd monitor or like a old fat monitor?

Well i know it's not an old fat monitor. It's flat screen, but it's color is beige so i'm not sure. :tongue.gif: Anything beige involving a computer monitor or case makes me think it's old. Btw, you're build doesn't have RAM.

Oh i forgot to add that in xD its still in the price just not on here xD i will edit it now
EDIT: I would get that screen it is really nice, i got 2 of them for dual monitors and their awesome.
Haha cool. Thanks! Now i just do some research, then i can buy my computer. Other people's opinions on these builds are welcome.
No problem, If you want any help when building or want to ask any questions then add me on anything in my sig and i can help you, or message me on here.

Ok. Well there is one more question. Do i need any thing else like a fan or do i just stick with the stocks? I can wait though.
Yes. Nothing to fancy. I want most of my money to go to the computer parts though.

@ii_ReKz: You don't have memory there.

If you can, get the EVGA Superclocked 560 Ti, it'll run much better than the 460 and less noise at stock speed, and comes overclocked at 900MHz.
It's $70 more dollars, but won't go over the budget.
Well, where exactly do you live?
