Depends, here on the west coast he would have about 2 1/2 hours from now. I believe that NewEgg goes by PST because thats where their headquarters are, I believe.
Don't forget that i can't buy from newegg. But go ahead and link me to them because it's not that hard to find on amazon. I think i'll just go with the 8 GB. I save $10, and i don't have to buy for shipping again. Plus i'm not sure if i can upgrade in the future.

And would this be a good option for the optical drive? It was the cheapest i could find that seemed okay.
