Windows is more functional than Apple. Apple focuses on form rather than function. Seriously, Why make a mouse with only one button? How are you supposed to play Minecraft without the ability to place blocks!?
Windows is over 9000. :cool.gif:
Apple is useless. :dry.gif:
And Linux I'm indifferent towards. :tongue.gif:

You can just turn on a setting that allows right click with the Apple Magic Mouse. Yes, you can right and left click with one button.

Works good, rarely crashes, stable, powerful, pleasing to the eye, no viruses, very little malware, great support, fairly priced hardware, software works amazingly well with the hardware, no need to slow it down with antivirus, runs Final Cut/Creative Suite well, extremely cheap OS, groundbreaking company and more.
Let the trolls attack... NOW! (seriously though, it's sad that you troll Mac users so much, you are like rabid dogs).

$30 for the OS and hardware that's cheaper than a PC's hardware in many cases (iMacs)?
Damn dude, you be trolling!
From what I got out of that, an iMac is cheaper than a PC? Obviously not. Just built a new computer yesterday, (i7 2600k, gtx 580,) and even got a new monitor, and im still well below the $2k they have on their site.

Hmm...
Let me see...
The screen was 27", and had a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, correct? Because a monitor comparable to the iMac's is ~$1000, so your build only cost you up to $1000 according to this logic.
Now, let's see, how much RAM did you get? I'd buy the top-of-the-line one, and add 16GB of RAM aftermarket for $130. So yours has 16GB of RAM? Or is it less, as 12GB would only run me $65.
Let's look at this all... You got a 2TB HDD at 7200RPM? I'm guessing so, right? Good, let's look at some other things. The card you say you bought is a little better in terms of specs to the 6970M 2GB OC'd, so yes, you have a better GFX card. And the i7 is the exact same one, so good on that count. However, I doubt that the Case/CPU/GFX card/Mobo/network card/wireless card/fans/PSU/RAM/HDD/etc all together was less than $1000 for those specs. If you truely speced it out for less than $2000, with all those specs and that monitor, then send me the link!

Never said it was a 2560 x 1440 monitor. It's a 24" samsung.

Well, the glass on those screens is pretty damn annoying. Glare. In my opinion, 1080p is all you need.
As far as RAM goes, anything over 8 gigs of RAM is overkill, unless you have PS CS5.5, AF CS5.5, and FCP all running at once.
The 'M' line is as powerful as the last gen's equivalent, so you have a 5970. That wasn't top of the line for last gen, so, it's much worse than the gtx 590.
He can OC his 2600K, unlike you, so he wins.
OT: I personally like Linux the best, but I'm still primarily on Windows due to compatibility. I hate MacOSX's UI.

1. I never have had problems with glare on my desktops, although it is a problem on laptops.
2. RAM-wise, I need the extra RAM, as I run a minecraft server off of it while surfing the web, running several apps and creative suite apps and final cut (I do some graphic design/web design/video work). Oh, and I run Linux/Windows in VMs every little while for PC/Linux-only apps and testing, which sucks up RAM like crazy.
3. The "M" is equal to a downclocked 6850, and I plan on OCing mine when I get it.
4. I can OC the i7 2600K, but not as much due to the air-cooled setup in the iMac, although I have little use for excess speed at this point even when I use the Creative Suite and FCP.

Agreed.
Also, this has been discussed many times already. Please use the older topics.
