Two comments, the laptop example, if someone asks for a recording laptop, no, just, no it will make it melt
And for the Mac example, some people use macs as work computers shared among many people, and are not personal in any way, shape or form, and so don't count as a PC, a cubical computer on the other hand is considered a PC, or a work laptop you take home with you is considered one as well, but again, not a shared one, PC is generally reserved for windows/Linux machines, but say school computers running windows, not a PC, and a Mac in your house is a PC, get my point? Any computer not shared by a large volume of people is a PC, even ones running a homebrew OS
Oh, and if it fits in one subforum better, like a computer request, it should go in that sub-forum instead, you are more likely to find support there, if it's something like an arduino sketch and wiring, it goes here, since it fits in both equally

windoge 8 has the saddest excuse for a BSOD, it just tells you the type of error, no stop code, no nothing, just "something went wrong, all your unsaved work has now been lost to the void that is volatile memory"

I specifically read this post for enjoyment of laughing at the things I don't do and what you and people come up with.
Anyone look for a in depth discussion over quaternions? I'm interested
inb4 sheep who themselves are not following them jumping on the bandwagon of "yeah those people ttly sux dude!".
There was a reason I didn't make a new rules sticky when it was requested so much while I was a mod, WE ALREADY HAVE ONE. THIS ONE.
Let's be honest, no one reads the stickies. How many people actually read the building guide before they made a post asking for advice?
Oh well. C'est la vie.
