Not bad at all for a first site.
One thing to pick at though, why does it redirect to /TSM/Town_Square_Market___Natural_foods_and_a_whole_lot_more.html
The main site should be in the root of the domain and the main page should be renamed to index.html
I still have my quatro's pizza cap I bought when I graduated.
site looks good to me. :smile.gif:
Yeah, go Salukis!

The graphics could use a little work.
This
Also one thing about the layout, you have the picture on the left side and the text on the right side, this works fine with the longer texts but if there are only 3 or 4 rows of full width text underneath the picture it looks somewhat strange. If you don't feel the same, please ignore me this is just my opinion
Otherwise good job :smile.gif:
I did a LOT of messing around with the text wrapping, but I agree, it still needs a bit of work. The client actually requested more line breaks, which will be interesting to implement as the original copy consisted of large paragraphs. Client's opinions>common sense :biggrin.gif:

For fixing the graphics, I suggest this. Add a blur effect around the edges to get rid of the ugly straight edges on the pictures. For the banner, remove the fruits that are being cut in half, or try and make it less obvious.
The client actually likes the straight edges, but I'll take a look at that and see if it's good enough to mention to him.

Makes things a fair bit easier.
Due to the crapware I'm currently using, the pages have to be those type names. The index.html is actually a redirect in this case. Never fear though, I'm close to moving over to Adobe Dreamweaver, and with that I'll convert the site (fixing the stupidly long names).
Thanks for all the feedback guys, and I'll be working on sone final changes soon, and I'll post back here once the changes the client asked for are live, and see what you think then! :smile.gif:

I might be a little harsh in this post but it's all constructive criticism. Don't take anything I say the wrong way.
Layout/design:
I like the layout you chose, it's simple and effective. You can navigate anyting you want with ease. However, it's not that pleasing to look at. I'm not sure if it's the lack of a color scheme or the choice of pictures but something isn't right and I'd suggest fooling around with colors and contrasts.
Conent:
There is a lot of rich content, enough to get the point across. Which is the main thing.
Source code:
First, I must thank you for not using tables for your layout. However, there is no need to have all those divs. A layout like that needs only one. Two at absolute most. I see you are using an external stylesheet which is great! So why do you have CSS written in your main document? For example:
No need for this. This is why you have an external stylesheet. Why did you give the div an ID of "id1" yet style it within the HTML document? The purpose of giving it an ID is so that your external stylesheet can refer back to the specific div element. Here's an example:
HTML:
<div id="id1"></div>
CSS:
#id1 {height: 27px; left: 154px; position: absolute; top: 117px; width: 36px; z-index: 1}
//or if you called a class:
.id1 {insert code}
It's all about simplicity of code.
Overall, I will rate your site a generous 5/10. It hasn't reached it's full potential but there is a lot of potential there.
Edit:
Due to the crapware I'm currently using, the pages have to be those type names. The index.html is actually a redirect in this case. Never fear though, I'm close to moving over to Adobe Dreamweaver, and with that I'll convert the site (fixing the stupidly long names).
Uh oh. If you're designing websites commercially, you should actually be the one buiilding them, not a third party program. Ditch whatever crapware you are using, learn how to write HTML, CSS, and PHP, download notepad++ and use your own expertise to design webpages.
Dreamweaver is perfect, however I switched in the middle of the project and haven't managed to move the site over yet due to my lack of experience in DW, and the fact that the client wanted the site faster. I'm currently working on getting up to snuff on DW, then I'll use it for site building.

I have to disagree with you. It's just more crapware. Notepad should be your only tool.
Even for CSS? Sorry, but I'm not quite "there" yet in my skill level.

It seems someone else has experience/knowledge on the matter.
It is a much much much better idea to do all the coding yourself instead of using a 'third-party' program (as in not you doing it manually). It will be much cleaner, and will be much easier to edit (imo).
Any questions with HTML or CSS I could help with.

I'm planning on DW at the moment, as trying to continue development on this bloated site in pure raw HTML/CSS code will be... bloody... and painful.....
Anyways, thanks for the offer of help though (and DW is just a GUI, you can edit the code manually OR via a GUI, so it allows WAY more advanced usage if you don't fully know HTML/CSS.

Trust me, dude. It'd be so worth it. HTML/CSS isn't too hard to learn. Plus, since you'd just be cleaning up the code that you have now, you wouldn't be adding much, I mean maybe to the CSS file, but the HTML would be reduced.

ive used notepad, notepad++ (the best for manual code editing), and dreamweaver
dreamweaver is the next best thing to notepad++, it lets you edit the code yourself within the program and it makes quite good code. you can even teach it to make code your way, and if you zip to the code tab enough it can teach you how to make code. Let the guy use dreamweaver, it's the best program out there hands down next to editing it yourself.

Look at the source code for his site. Sure, it produces working code, but it links an external css file, yet each tag has style attributes. That's not very clean.

Hmm. You guys have it all wrong. I'm currently using some random crapware until the site is at the client's standards (which is soon). Then, I'll switch it over to Dreamweaver, and clean up all the messy code.

Hmm, I didn't quite phrase that right... I meant to say that I switched over to DW for design in the middle of the project, but continued using the crapware for this site due to the fact that I didn't quite have the level of experience with DW needed to complete the project fast enough.
