SheepShaver is a program that emulates a PowerPC Macintosh. Your first reaction is probably "WTF, why would I want to do that," but although Macs aren't good for gaming these days there were a lot of indie developers and small companies making games in the 80s and 90s.
I suggest Weekend Warrior (need a good CPU), Glider PRO, and Myst (I have a CD, but you could probably find it online somewhere.) Also, the Macintosh Garden has a huge collection of abandonware games, applications, and system software.
If you do decide to try it, here's the Windows setup guide. The latest Windows build includes a ROM from the Apple website. You also need a system disk, the best one is the System Software Recovery disk from Apple.
OpenGL games will crash since there is no hardware acceleration. QuickDraw 3D 1.6 will crash the emulator as well, but if you manage to downgrade to 1.5 you can play some older games. Most 2D games should be playable if you have a decent system.
The system software comes with IE5 and Netscape 4, but IE is buggy and Netscape displays most modern website incorrectly. Look for iCab.
