Do you approve of "waggle" control for games? Things like Microsoft's "Kinect", PlayStations "Move" and "Eyetoy", Microsoft's "Wiimote"...
Do you think these will ever be adopted into the core gaming audience - or is ever doomed to annoy the core audience and appeal to the *coughretardedcough* casual audience?
Once the technology advances far enough it could become a contender with the basic controller. The "hardcore" gaming community always hates when companies try and infringe in their playground though so it may never be adopted for the games they play.
Where's the "I don't care" option? Yes, it can be fun. Yes, it can be better than buttons and thumb-joysticks. It can also be worse. For some things it provides a much more intuitive and often much more fun interface. For others it can be cumbersome and just get in the way. Whether you're casual or not* really has no bearing on it.
Being a casual gamer doesn't make you a retard. What distinguishes casual from hardcore is merely the time one is willing to invest in learning a game. It should be pretty obvious (consider hardcore Halo players) that the set of casual gamers and the set of hardcore gamers both contain a comparable ratio of retards.

Never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by incompetence.
It's not asking your opinion of it, it's asking if you use it or not - answering "I don't care" wouldn't make any sense.
Also, regarding the retard part, it was obviously a joke, which is why I made the text so small and surrounded by *cough*.
Sorry, I read the second part as an opinion since the third option contains an opinion ("it wasn't for me" expresses an opinion about its use, whereas the two yes answers express something more along the lines of a frequency). If you're only asking whether or not someone uses it with subtext of how often, there should only be one 'no' answer. I suppose there's a bit of ambiguity in the difference between "have you used it" and "do you still use it", but whatever.

Not obvious enough, apparently. I've met a lot of people who really do honestly think that casual gaming = retard gaming. I don't really care enough to spend the effort determining whether a statement is a joke or not, so I address the point itself. It really doesn't matter if you actually think that or not, since some people do and hopefully they'll read what I wrote about it.

I hate all of it really. When I play a game, I play it to escape my body and go into another world. No way in hell am I going to jump around like an idiot while I'm playing Banjo-Kazooie. But then again that's a personal opinion, I just really hope they still allow remotes like Nintendo did with the Classic Controller for Wii (Even though the Wiimote doesn't require a lot of action). Really, for the whole audience, I'm not sure, but I'm going to take a guess that a lot of people have the same generalized opinion as I.
Once the technology advances, I might accept it as a legitimate controller as opposed to a gimmick, but for now... No motion control, please.
I once owned a Wii. I played it for the first week I had it, then it collected dust until I sold the damn thing. I don't like Waggle controls, I like the ease-of-use of a controller.
Give me mind based controllers and I'll be happy, give me a "holodeck" and I might be pleased. Give me a wiimote and some overpriced camera and I'll be red with rage.

Discuss.

What makes you think that?
I don't recall knowing anyone who likes to jump around like a ninja when playing Brawl.
Well I guess I don't, I'm just taking the data I've collected from every person I know. Why, do YOU jump around playing Wii games?
Depends on the game. Many of the sports games, yes, I do. But then, if I didn't, how would that validate your position at all?
And how would it invalidate if you did? Considering you are but one person, you could be the majority or the minority. There is no proved consensus.
