Just want to see what the breakdown is here, with more detailed categories that just Windows and Mac. Please DO NOT turn this thread into a Windows vs. Mac vs. Linux thread, we already have one of those somewhere.
I've been using Windows 7 since two weeks before the initial release. (Being an IT student rocks)
I've been using it since about a year before it's release, haha. I got the first Beta within hours of its release, then I got the RC about a day after its release. I'm an IT student too, though, so I used my technet access to get the Gold release about two weeks before its release.

Gold release = RMA release? (the release all the magazines and such get)
Also, OP: make the poll multiple-choice. Besides Win7 I also use Win2K and I have two other computers running Windows XP and Windows Vista.
Tbh, even if you say you don't want me to be a hater, Chrome OS isn't really that big of a deal. It doesn't take long to boot, but if you use Google Chrome, you know exactly what ChromeOS is like.
I use Windows 7 Enterprise because I'm just that cool.
I have Linux Mint 9 x64 and Windows 7 x64 installed on this machine. I have to use Windows XP at school/work, unfortunately.
Windows 7 is mostly for games. I'd drop it all together, but for some reason I can't get Wine to work for me for 3D applications.
I also store all of my code in my Windows partition. That way, I can set my workspace to the Windows folder for BOTH operating systems, and easily switch between testing in Linux and testing in Windows. :3
CHROME OS YEEEAAAAHHHHH.
Soooo.... Linux.

What about DOS? I use that for old games too...
I might still have DOSBox installed somewhere... Haven't used it in a while.
Best Microsoft OS there is. I'd get Linux but it's kind of complicated and I cba to learn it, and it doesn't have all the games Windows has, if it had both of those, I'd get it.

Actually Linux isn't all that hard, I find the interface easier to use in some aspects than Windows. Especially installing applications is a piece of cake.
I use Windows XP, but I used Macs in the past.
Raise my dragons please!!

I want to try 7, though.

Nah, just kidding. Solaris is terrible.

It's closer to a thin-client than anything.
a thinclient is a type of computer, not OS.

Sig'd. Pick Windows 9x/ME, 9x means either 95 or 98.
