Hello all, I'm looking to start a YT channel for my son. He's looking to have these type of videos with I'm guessing a green screen,
My question is what hardware/software would be required to accomplish the same look as the video link. Would like to have whats on the screen of his ipad, iphone, xbox, MAC, etc. mirror on the video but only show his face with the game on the background.

You need a webcam and preferably a microphone.
you use a green screen and I personally use filmora and use the green screen feature and layer the gameplay footage overtop.
Just remember that these YouTubers spend hours editing these so don’t expect it to look too “professional”

this is what i think is needed i would also wanna hear other peoples opinions on this topic it sounds interesting
editing software DaVinci Resolve (FREE)
green screen
webcam logitech c920 (avoid super old webcams and laptop webcams)
studio lights
screen recorder OBS studio (FREE)
hardware: almost any new gaming pc (avoid older than 4 year gaming pcs)
a lot of editing skills is required (its possible to pay an editor to edit the video for you)
make a plan for the youtube channel example what kind of videos and how to gain views and have a lot of energy
optional Adobe After Effects for making custom effects but not required
optional elgato game capture hd60s for recording or live stream from consoles like playstation or xbox
also if you are planning to buy a gaming computer for recording/editing/livestreaming i can rate computers if they are good for it or not
hope this helps
