Both, but I mostly use my desktop. I like desktops better because of their versatility, the only nice thing about laptops is their portability which I rarely have occasion to take advantage of.

I used to have a desktop at home, since long as I have started on a job I have a laptop there Lenovo Ideapad. Sold of my desktop and honestly after I am done with work and at home, I just don't want to see the big screen at any cost even if its the matter of life and death.
I have an Asus laptop, an awesome desktop computer and a couple year old mac book pro laptop. My favorite device is my Asus. It has 4GB ram with 8GB Swap space...? lol But I run Manjaro Arch linux on it and it is perfect for Minecraft and programming. I LOVE IT. And it is only 2 pounds of weight. I turned my desktop computer into a Minecraft server. I wasn't really using it anyways. And my Macbook pro now stays at home.... for watching movies and playing MC when at home. Most my work is done on the Asus now!

My favorite one is a laptop. I can take it everywhere in my trips. It is very good for almost every person connected to the travellings.
Well, in my case it's laptop. Pretty simple decision if you want comfort over quality.
Both, but I use my laptop very often because I'm working to get my desktop computer fixed.
I have both.
Intel Xeon X5670 (6c/12t) @ 4.4GHz, 24GB DDR3, GTX 1080, 500GB, 250GB, 120GB SSD, 2x 4TB HDD and 2x 2TB HDD
