I'm just curious on this and wondered if you prefer iOS or Android. (I expect a lot of people would prefer android over iOS). I personally use both of their mobile os.
Android all the way, I shouldn't have to jailbreak my device to get decent configuration and functionality. Gotta love it when they sell "new, innovative features" to you in an update when the exact same thing's been around on Android for years.

You may want to read my post while you still can, some of them have been randomly disappearing lately *cough*
Quote or reply my post if you expect a response, thanks!
Both have their pros and cons and the choice is generally just personal preference, not "this is better because..."
I use android and have since I got my first smartphone. I've only have 1 iPhone (a 4s) and it just wasn't what I wanted and I preferred the look and feel of an S5. I now have an Xperia XZ which is probably my favourite phone to date.
Android. Can't use xposed app extensions, get expansive battery stats, wakelock stats or other system info with iOS. Can't use system wide CM13 themes or customisable adblocking, can't change kernel settings (screen colours, power profiles, DPI, etc), no system level file browsing, no easily transferrable music, pictures, videos etc, no DashCharge/FastCharge... the list goes on & on.

I personally prefer iOS, but there's some things about Android (based on past experience) I just envy. For instance, iOS is generally more secure, but Android has a crap ton of apps in the Google Play Store compared to the App Store. So both have their ups and downs.

I use custom software for my phone that I developed over 2 years with my dad. It doesn't work all to well right now but the basics are there, as in you can call people, save contacts and access a settings menu where you can't change a lot at the moment but it's a WIP. I mainly use the UI that I made just so I can find bugs and fix them, it's faster than finding someone else to do it.
With Android I can use SD cards, which are a one time purchase. If you want to expand memory on your iPhone, you need cloud service, which requires internet/data and also comes with a monthly charge for the cloud space.
I also have so much more on my android tablet... iOS devices have more paid games than Android. Android games are mostly free of charge, except for the annoying ads and all of the in-game purchases and "lives".
iOS devices are also expensive... going for at least $400 for the cheapest of them all. My RCA tablet, which comes with a microSD card slot up to 64 GB, a keyboard, an HDMI port, a micro usb port, and a full-size usb port, a reset button, and a headphone jack cost only $100.
A back glass repair for an iPhone X costs half the price of the device itself... the price for replacing the screen on my old RCA tablet cost around $150. Still more than the device, but cheaper than an iPhone repair.

Using iOS would drive me nuts.

I'm an Android person, it's just the best platform for mobile emulation.

I don't touch any phone iOS, but is awesome.
I prefer/like most Android.
I am using an IOS device and also an Android but I believe Android is more practical in terms of usability.
Now I use iOS, earlier I used Android. I like iOS more, maybe because my android phone was cheap
neverending battle
Android is so much better...
