Malware Bytes Doesn't actively search for virusses like say, Avira or AVG (not McAfee because that doesn't do *beep* ).
Also coming back to the rather dumb question of MatthewStevenGo, any antivirus that alows .jar files to be executed will let Minecraft run.
I didn't know there was a difference.
