When I choose the OptiFine profile to load, it WILL NOT load any MOD, nada nothing zilch. I DL OptiForge as well, didn't work. Now, if I load the Forge profile, I have all my mods, but it runs like crap, pausing every 5 - 15 seconds. Huge bands of chunks don't load only the inside of caves and tunnels are visible until I go into options/video settings/and change fast to fancy and back again on Graphics.
Can anyone help me please? I've upped memory from 2-4. I've fiddled with all the settings as suggested by YouTube videos.
Forge 1.14+ you need OptiForge (a mod on Curseforge) to get OptiFine working alongside it, same with Fabric. For whatever reason OptiFine does there only thing so Devs for those modloaders don't support it normally and need to build a compatibility mod to make OptiFine work on them.
I'd say if you don't want to go through something like this use other performance, dynamic lighting or zoom mods as there is a few that do those features just as good.

Ok then, but all you need is Optifine, OptiForge and other mods you want to use once you have Forge installed for 1.15.2.
It's really not that hard, and I don't even use Optifine or other performance mods, I just learned how through what I have with past questions like yours, or documenting mods daily.
Or use other mods that benefit performance, dynamic lighting, zoom and more besides Optifine as there is tons out there if it's not working/not up to what your after.
The SunTannedDuck2 (weird name, but okay) is right. You need OptiForge, and if it is a Fabric mod OptiFabric. Just watch a tutorial. It is the literal easiest thing in the world
ATTENTION: All my mods are in Fabric and use the Fabric Mod Loader and the Fabric API. I do not make mods in Forge, because I deeply dislike Forge. Sorry!
One more thing: I know I'm not IMPORTANT ENOUGH to be asked things like "can you make this mod for me?" but still. I check the mod requests section on the MC Forums at least once a week. If you have anything you want me to make, post it there and there is 99.99% chance I will see it. And if it's good, I will make it and post it on the same thread. I know no once cares but still. Just so you know, you feel me?
