Hello, can someone help me? I am making a modpack with 183 mods for survival and I keep getting this crash report when forge is loading. Does someone know how to fix it?
Time: 15/03/19 21.16
Description: FML has discovered extracted jar files in the mods directory.
This breaks mod loading functionality completely.
Remove the directories and replace with the jar files originally provided.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Extracted mod jars found, loading will NOT continue

A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- System Details --
Details:
Minecraft Version: 1.7.10
Operating System: Mac OS X (x86_64) version 10.14.3
Java Version: 1.8.0_74, Oracle Corporation
Java VM Version: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (mixed mode), Oracle Corporation
Memory: 114305296 bytes (109 MB) / 134217728 bytes (128 MB) up to 2147483648 bytes (2048 MB)
JVM Flags: 7 total; -Xmx2G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M
AABB Pool Size: 0 (0 bytes; 0 MB) allocated, 0 (0 bytes; 0 MB) used
IntCache: cache: 0, tcache: 0, allocated: 0, tallocated: 0
The error is self-explanatory - you extracted the jar files for mod(s) instead of just placing them as-is into the mods folder (there should only be files like "modname.jar" in there, no individual files with names like "abc.class" or other folders). You only ever need to extract a downloaded mod file if you are using non-Forge mods (with the files inside placed into the Minecraft jar itself), and those aren't compatible with Forge with few exceptions, or it the instructions tell you to do so (e.g. a single download containing a jar file (only extracted in its entirety - do not also extract the jar itself) and resource pack, though most mods will have their textures inside their jar, unless they are changing vanilla textures to make them fit in with their own).

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
