So as the title suggests, I'm trying to mod version 1.12.2. I was having trouble getting past the launcher as the game would close the launcher after clicking play but not launch the client. After fixing that I'm now able to get to the main menu (where it says all mods have been successfully loaded) but the game crashes just before loading into a world. I am not at all versed in modding but I think I've figured out that tinkerers' construct is part of the problem as the crash report says this:
Loaded coremods (and transformers): GL info: ~~ERROR~~ RuntimeException: No OpenGL context found in the current thread.
followed by a bunch of things like "tinkercommons (enabled/forced)"
I've tried everything short of updating/reinstalling graphics drivers and any help or suggestions would be massively appreciated as I've been at this for about 6 hours now and my head hurts.
If there's any info I can provide that would help you to help me I'd be happy to provide it
Full crash report if possible in a spoiler or linked to a pastebin or similar.
From tinkercommon if you have tinker's construct possible, maybe you need Mantle? Or some other situation has come up. I'm only guessing with that. I'm not that much an expert with crash reports but I understand bits and pieces.

As far as I can tell it's all set up as should be

Does the world crash on loading up the world/inaccessibility to the server?
Otherwise can't tell much more than that. There is no mods conflicting at all so it can't be that. Maybe Optifine I guess but that's just me coming up with possibilities. Not sure what the cause could be unfortunately.

Your welcome. Maybe it's a memory issue? You do have few mods on you have so you shouldn't need to, but I'd try looking at that if you know where to look. I'd check a JVM arguments forum thread to know how to tweak stuff like that if the game struggle to balance things. Or try 1.12.2 without mods/sort out mods that makes the world joining difficult or not.
Other than that, obviously not got much else to say. But your very welcome.

it gets to where it says "joining world" then crashes.
But thanks for taking the time to have a look, much appreciated.

I found a way to fix it for anyone who thinks they have the same problem and stumbled upon this thread.
Just use 1.7.10 and save yourself an 8 hour headache
