This list is slowly growing (due to my increasingly busy schedule i'm finding it a bit harder to update), But it now includes almost 20 of you're favourite (and some lesser known) Lucky blocks! If there are any important ones i might be missing please leave a comment below and let me know!
What We're About:
The Lucky Block List aims to create a good place for every quality lucky block add-on out there that deserves to be recognized. Here you'll find almost every lucky block add-on known to mankind (more or less). No matter what you're looking for, just remember, there's a lucky block for that. If you made a block and you don't see it here, instructions for submitting a request to get you're block on the list are below. To avoid a flood of spammers or incomplete/low quality add-ons, there are a few low requirements each block must reach before getting on the list.
How It Works:
The list will be categorized first based upon add-on version (earliest first, 1.9, then 1.8+, then 1.7.10) then upon sub-categories (Will be added later, after actual catagories are decided) more sub-categories may be added later for increased-organization (hopefully). As of right now there is no actual organization, besides version.
All the overview sections of each block is basically an opinion of my own listing some of the great factors of the block. More thorough explanations can, of course, be found on the luck block's download page.
What We Look For In An Add-on:
To have your block on the list, it must meet a few standards first. This is just to avoid any incomplete add-ons or ones that have been carelessly thrown together. We wouldn't want bad/boring add-ons in our list now would we?
~ Must have a good amount of creative custom drops (This does not include the default lucky block drops, 100+ or more is ideal but not necessary)
~ Must have a forum or other page with details describing the block, with drop examples, installation help, and a link to a safe download (Adfly and other ad-revenue generating sites are permitted, granted they are safe and friendly) (Curseforge is recommended)
~ Must have custom texture (this does not include photos taken off the internet, i mean a real texture that was made specifically for this block, that's commitment right there.)
The Diamond Lucky Block is by far one of the most well known add-ons out there. This block started off early and has been faithfully maintained and updated through the versions. The block features lots of drops with no particular theme, except maybe diamonds and luck, and is usually on the not-too-OP side. Overall it's a great block that all lucky block add-on fans should tryout.
The Creeper lucky block is a bit less known, considering it's popular mascot. Nevertheless this block is definetley worth trying out. It includes loads of custom things, allong with some drops from other lucky blocks (only the OP ones apparently ) You'll either survive and be rich and unbeatable, orrrr, well die a horrible death. Sometimes even spawn camped! Thats always fun. Go to the link above for a bit more info!
Also note that the post for older versions is not the same as the one for 1.9, but there is a link in the post linked above that links to the older versions. That's allot of links.... On another hand ain't that banner pretty? yeah that's all me.
Definitely a lesser known block, The Rainyville lucky block seemed to be more of a pass-time build then a large project. Nevertheless this block shows some promise with it's own variations on unique drops or edited classic lucky blocks. like with most add-ons, you'll have loads of fun!
~1.8+ ~
most of these should work in all versions of 1.8 the lucky block mod is supported in, however, some have mod dependencies that may be limited to only one version of 1.8. reference the lucky block's installation for specific instructions for each.
A personal favourite, the Spiral Lucky Block (Lucky Block Spiral?) was one of the first 'quality' lucky blocks i ever saw in a video, and it's been stuck on the top-downloads list on the Curseforge for... a long time. This was made by Tmtravlr, a talented modder and texture-er-er(?) Who also made the Loot++ mod, which several lucky block mods use as a dependency for their custom items and drops. This block definitely makes it onto the OP page with drops including epic explosives and nukes, wands, bows, armor, and a whole bunch of crazy stuff. If you've never tried the Spiral block, you've never lucky-block-add-on'ed(?)
As you could probably tell from the giant axe in the banner image above, this block is really OP. The Fantasia Lucky Block holds the spot for one of the most OP blocks in the add-on community. The newest update added more crazy weapons, 250+ damage and what-not. No biggy. Check it out for yourself with the link above, it's really intense, but i guarantee you'll love it!
guarantee not valid. ever. as in you might hate it but that's up to your personal opinion. ~thank you~
This is the Doctor Who Lucky Block, basically a block themed around doctor who. This is a personal fave of mine, because it's mine. Also it's amazing. Ok, done being biased.
This block adds in several doctor who - related drops, about 300+, including armor with custom effects and loads of tools and weapons, And lets not forget the custom structures and wells and, well allot of stuff. This block like many others is still being faithfully updated and will continue to grow! I hope you like it! Enjoy!
This is Tmtravlr's most recent mod, The Astral Lucky Block! This is high-quality stuff right here, with one of the most beautiful (i can be a man and admit it. BEAUTIFUL!) textures in lucky block history. This includes ton's of custom items like throwing stars (actual stars, not the ninja kind) and one of the largest swords i've ever seen. Besides that its a really great block with some really awesome drops. Check it out for yourself to see the epicness!
The emerald lucky block, like diamond, has been around for quite some time. Taking the popular vanilla item routinley used in mods, this block is almost a combination of other mods and vanilla smushed together for a great lucky block experience! The block also adopted the 3D texture in one of the more recent updates. It also boasts of some of the most drops in an add-on with a whopping 387+ (Counted them ALL did ya? ). With this block, you'll never know what you'll get next!
Known for being a bit troll-ish and OP, the Night Lucky Block brings quite a few epic drops to the table, particularly fondness for blue things. Coming with the block is a Loot++ dependency to add lots of Night-themed equipment and items to you're world, from Night apples to Night Swords and who knows what else. Overall it's a very cool block that's heavily customized the original lucky block, even bringing with it custom wells and temples and, who knows what else! Check it out at Curseforge with the link above!
What more to say? It's lucky block pink, one of the most OP and Manly blocks ever made.
But seriously. This is a fairly good block with over 300+ drops and plenty of variety. Heavily inspired by PopularMMO's i believe the block features some youtube-themed drops (don't quote me on that). If you want to be manly, this is definitely the block for you.
Dark Side Lucky Block
By : AwesomeMan2812
Some Ideas : TrevTastic4
link: Curseforge
Overview
A block heavily inspired by PopularMMO's lucky block series (what lucky block isn't?) and worthy of it's title. The Dark Side lucky block is a bit on the evil side but nevertheless is a really cool mod. With about 150 drops the block has a variety of things including new Loot++ items (guns i think?) added in the most recent updated. This one will definitely be a keeper for a long time, given that it continues to be updated!
This is a block i've never tried personally, but watching the review on the cursepage i got some hints as to whats on the up & up. This is another block that takes a few drops from other blocks, such as spiral. The texture seems to be all the different wool colors, and apparently there is a new texture in the 1.8 updated (which isn't actually on the curseforge page...) The amount of drops is more or less unknown, and may contain more broken drops then others. I can see this becoming an original lucky block all it's own, however due to the lack of updates on the page this may be as far as the block itself goes.
Lucky Block Sly
By : Lordslyfox
link: Curseforge
Overview
I'm not going to pretend to know what this block is supposed to look like, or how it relates to sly, but still one of the more creative textures of the bunch. This block adds in a whole bunch of cool new drops that are definitely worth checking out. It also uses the 3D texture which looks great with the block. This block has also been used many times by PopularMMOs and is no doubt somewhat influenced by the popular Youtuber.
The Lucky Block Blue is an oldie. an oldie, but a goodie. It's one of the first lucky block add-ons and was very popular upon it's first release. since then it's popularity has gone down a bit, but still holds an honorary place as one of the first and one of the best. The new texture always makes me think it's the diamond lucky block, but no, it's just Blue 2
A well known block for its... creepy texture and PopullarMMO's (specifically GamingWithJen) inspired drops. While it seems to be more of a joke then a serious project, it has been kept up a bit and updated from time to time. It's a block worth checking out, if you can get past dat face.
Lucky block spotted, or Cheetah, is definetley an underrated block. When i saw it on Curseforge, i figured it couldn't be that good because it wasn't featured and had barley any downloads (for the amount of time it had been uploaded) but after taking a look at the drops i noticed there are quite a few very unique drops, including weapons and armor inspired from Lord of The Rings! It's all very cool, and worth checking out, despite it's unpopular-ness... (thats a word)
This is a great lucky block that i haven't tried personally because it's a bit new. Due to it's, 'new-ness' this block doesn't feature many drops, but quite a bit of creativity and work has been poured into the drops. Featuring many TNT-themed drops including TNT armor with various levels and bosses, it's a great block to try out.
This is TripDering's first(?) lucky block that flew sky high with popularity fast! It's pretty old so it's been updated a ton of times, and has plenty of interesting drops. it also has a modded and un-modded versions, so if you don;t want about other mod dependencies (which may be mods you don't like) then you can get the un-modded or Loot++ versions!
**TROLL LUCKY BLOCK **
By : piebara
link: Minecraft Forum
Overview
It's a troll block. What more can i say. With plenty of drops (and trolls) this block is really unique. Sporting a fantastic fading texture that features a classic lucky block question mark and an awesome Troll face. Check it out, it'll be fine...
A really cool (and kinda... random) block that i give lots of support to. The block features lots of really OP drops, and is heavily influenced by PopularMMo's challenge game series . Even the name, a joke from the series referring to camo lucky blocks, which they kept calling Camel. thus the camel lucky blocks were born. Try it for yourself for one of the most epic Lucky Sword textures Ev~ah!
The Nether lucky block is another small-ish add-on that features just a few simple, but still creative and fun, nether themed drops. This is also by far my best description because i summed the whole thing up in one sentence. Cool. Check it out!
The rainbow block is another very popular block. It features tons of new drops, and is, once again, heavily influenced by PopularMMo's challenge game series, even coming with a FuriosDestroyer and SuperGirlyGamer set that all have special effects. Check it out for yourself to see all the epic drops!
The SuperHero Lucky Block is a block i made based off around the Super Hero's Unlimited Mod. It includes lots of custom drops from the superhero's unlimited mod, including every single set of armor (that's allot...) and randomized-hero-suit chests. That's really about it, since The mod itself has several restrictions, such as you can't drop weapons and the armor doesn't render on any entities besides players, creating a somewhat bland lucky block. But you'll have hours of fun with all the armor you can get! Enjoy!
I try not to be biased, but i don't recommend this block very much. After going through the drops i saw that the majority are drops taken from other blocks. This is acceptable, but not recommended. Besides those drops, this block contains little creativity or devotion. Also it seems the latest file for 1.7.10 is named Neon, with a (scary) neon cat texture. Not sure if the block will ever be re-vamped and officially re-named, or if the project is abandoned.
The Black Lucky Block is another block that's been around for quite some time. Featuring a little over 150 new drops i believe, this is one of the classic lucky blocks with no dependencies. starting in 1.7.10, the block has not yet moved up to a newer version, and may never. But that's alright! What we got is a more than decent block that will be continued to be used for a long long time, unless 1.7.10 becomes horribly outdated and never used again. just a thought.
This list is always in development, so check back often for more new blocks added to the list!
Maybe you should still include those that have less than 100 drops, and just use drop amounts as a subcategory? I know at least one quality lucky block that has less than 100 drops.
Maybe you should still include those that have less than 100 drops, and just use drop amounts as a subcategory? I know at least one quality lucky block that has less than 100 drops.
huh, really? In my past experience blocks that have only a few drops kinda stink cause half of them are just the default drops, but that's true! It's very possible to have epic blocks without 100 or more drops, i'll edit that now. Thnks for the suggestion.
Now with 19 lucky blocks! I had no idea there were so many out there, with more to come!
please remeber i'm not adding every lucky block ever made, only the quality ones that were made with care and devotion. If someone comes to me with a block that only adds in 2 new drops of questionably creation (stolen from another block perhaps?) then odds are it won't be added to the list
Lucky blocks planned to be added in the next few days: Omega, Delta, and Electronic
Help Me out with the list! Heres some ways to contriubte:
-find, test, and message me any cool lucky blocks you know of!
-leave a comment for any blocks i may have missed!
-have a block that's horribly un-noticed? message me and i'll look into adding it to the list!
-Be Creative! Make you're own blocks and expand the lucky block community! (Try to stay with the more recent versions 1.9 & 1.8+, unless you're block is going to be dependant upon a 1.7.10 mod, then it's fine )
Troll Lucky Block (my personal favorite, adds in illuminati/troll related stuff + dank memes and mlg gear)
Camel Lucky Block (adds in camel-related gear in 1.8 version, uses many mods to add in random drops in 1.7.10 version)
Rainbow Lucky Block (1.8 version adds new vanilla drops, 1.7.10 utilizes mods to add in drops)
Lucky Block Time Machine (adds in tons of custom armor, weapons, structures, etc. + optional new textures for other lucky blocks)
Transparent Lucky Block (adds in new glass-related blocks, transparent armor, which is as strong as diamond, but appears as thin air, command block creations, and lots of awesome stuff)
I hope you add at least some of these to the list, so that more people can discover them and appreciate them!
Totally! Thanks for all the suggestions. I think i only didn't know 2 or 3 of the blocks on the list, the rest i was getting around too! Had a super busy week. Thanks for all that!
P.S. ironically a few of those were on the first list i wrote out that got sorta... deleted before i could post it lol i'll add them soon too.
I ordered the blocks in their most recent version, I'm not really updating the list anymore So it will stay where it is for now, sorry, but i appreciate the input!

Haven't been here in but I know another great lucky block source! Unfortunately where does blocks are posted there is not much information, apart from the videos with them. All do include custom drops and mostly around 150-250 new drops, depending on who made them!
Hey thanks for including my block! Its nice to see someone making one big place for some of the big lucky blocks out there to be found for any who want to find them. I have updated my block actually, so I've finally come back around to it.
No problem, your block is really good btw! This (my account) has been kind of dead recently sadly, but I'm getting a new computer and am going to be getting back into modding, including updating this thread a bit more! Lots of new lucky blocks have been made recently and I can't wait to start making more myself.
Hello again, this is kinda an announcement to everyone. I haven’t updated the dark side lucky block in over a year, but good news is I finally have! Now it also has a version that supports 1.12 as well as one for 1.8.9. If any of you still care about my lucky block then check it out!

Here are a few quality lucky blocks I know of that aren't on your list. Get ready for a Lucky Block Link bomb to be dropped on you!
TNT Lucky Block (adds in some TNT items with creative TNT drops, only around 50 new drops, but a new addon so you gotta hand it to them)
Abyssal Block (uses AbyssalCraft mod to create undead/sacrificial themed drops)
Nether Lucky Block (nether-themed drops, no new items)
Lucky Block Sly (pretty cool drops, no new items)
Troll Lucky Block (my personal favorite, adds in illuminati/troll related stuff + dank memes and mlg gear)
Camel Lucky Block (adds in camel-related gear in 1.8 version, uses many mods to add in random drops in 1.7.10 version)
Rainbow Lucky Block (1.8 version adds new vanilla drops, 1.7.10 utilizes mods to add in drops)

Thanks for including my Lucky Block
Just saying one thing
I would Prefer my Creeper block to be in the 1.8 category for my 1.8 version of my block
My 1.8 version has many more drops then my
1.9/1.7.10 Version of my block
I would prefer my 1.8 to be on this list not the 1.9
But thanks for including me

I ordered the blocks in their most recent version, I'm not really updating the list anymore So it will stay where it is for now, sorry, but i appreciate the input!
Haven't been here in but I know another great lucky block source! Unfortunately where does blocks are posted there is not much information, apart from the videos with them. All do include custom drops and mostly around 150-250 new drops, depending on who made them!
Here is the website: LINK
I don't know if you will add them, but it was just to let you know. =P
Thanks! I hope you get back into it soon since I did like the doctor who lucky block myself!

Hello again, this is kinda an announcement to everyone. I haven’t updated the dark side lucky block in over a year, but good news is I finally have! Now it also has a version that supports 1.12 as well as one for 1.8.9. If any of you still care about my lucky block then check it out!
