I need to make a super simple mod as part of a demonstration and I know there is a site that is specifically able to create custom minecraft blocks and recipes, I have googled the out of it and I can't find it.

That looks VERY similar to the website I was talking about, however the design is crude.

Now the tricky part... does redstone come into this situation at all?

I know how you feel man. Yesterday I found this mod maker site, but now I can't remember it. (curse my bad memory!) I freakin' hate it when that happens!

The same thing happened to me. It was some stupid address like mcdjo.fjfdk.fkfj or something ;D
