Hi. Are you a Mac user who tried finding a good shader pack but just couldn't? Well, lucky for you, you came to the right place. I am a Mac user myself, and for five months since I bought it, I have tried looking for good shaders left and right. I couldn't. Finally, my problems have been solved, and now, I am here to type this. This post will introduce you to many great shader packs that are entirely compatible with OSX! So let's get started!
10. Alexei03 Shader Pack
Rating: 6.5/10
This shader pack is a versatile pack that is compatible with nearly every computer on Earth. It does not add heavy color corrections, nor does it add any sun effects. However, it does add cool shadows and has a glorious water effect! This is a satisfactory shader pack that you might, just might, want to try out.
9. Paolo's Lagless Shaders
Rating: 6.8/10
This shader pack was, and I don't know how, but it was designed to be lagless. It truly is. It would run on any 2000's computer without a problem. The shader pack adds some nice water effects, a nice sun beam with godrays, and blobby shadows. The shader pack itself has a warm, late summer feel to it. It demonstrates itself through looks and proves to be a spectacular shader pack!
8. SEUS V08 Standard Shader Pack
Rating: 7.1/10
This is an older, 2013 version of SEUS shaders, which is compatible with a Mac. It has a bright, summery feeling to it, and includes some awesome features. There are blocky shadows, waving foliage, a nice blue sky, and some sun effects. Overall, it is the best shader for its own time, 2013, and is a very flexible version of SEUS.
7. RudoPlay's Shaders
Rating: 7.4/10
This shader pack was my favorite for such a long time; I never thought there was a better one out there. But seriously, this shader pack emits a warm, inviting and intimate, late summer feel. Waving leaves and optimization for specular mapped resource packs (I use ChromaHills) are features. But this shader pack has some really sick sun flares.
6. Sasuked Shaders v7 Ultra
Rating: 7.8/10
Sasuked shaders are a great example of prime shaders. Effects like the awesome godrays, sun beam and a fogged-out precipitation system are all factors that were integrated in making an above-standard shader pack.
5. MrMeep's Shaders v5 Medium
Rating: 8.2/10
This pack, as described by the creator, is supposed to be from a cat's perspective. However, the effects are pretty darn realistic. From the elegant, spectral sun beams to the warm tones, this shader pack is an incredible pack for you!
4. Chocapic13's Shaders v4 Ultra
Rating: 8.6/10
This pack could be considered the "mother of all shaders". More than half of shader pack creators base their shaders of this one, because they aren't copyrighted. However, these shaders could get laggy sometimes. But the specs of this shader are great; there are amazing water effects and rain features. This shader is a prime example of a solid pack.
3. Werrus v3 HFPS Shaders Ultra DOF
Rating: 9.0/10
The Werrus shaders is a bright, vivid shader pack with the appearance of a late spring theme, with rain puddles, clouds, and lovely shading, this is a hight performance shader, and it never lags!
2. Sildur's Shaders v1.09 High
Rating: 9.7/10
If you heard about Sildur's shaders, you are not alone. It is one of the most popular out there, and its effects are phenomenal. This pack has Mac and Intel versions, and just some of its effects include realistic clouds, smooth shading, sun beam, retractable lighting, and moon rays. The shader itself has an inviting tone, and you indefinitely should try it!
1. KUDA Shaders v5.0.6 Ultra
Rating: 10/10
The KUDA Shaders are extremely versatile and gorgeous, and run smoothly. They are entirely optimized for normal and specular mapped resource packs, and its effects are simply prodigious. Just to name a few, the shader pack includes dirty lens, sun flare, sun beam, godrays, reflective water, accurate shadows, insanely real rain puddles, waving leaves and optimization for specular resource packs.
Thank you guys for tuning in! But make sure you take the poll!

i have a mac late 2011 with a dual i5 core 2700 and 4 gigs of ram and i can run SEUS ultra beta (which btw isn't my favorite, nothing beats RuxCraft Shaders yet) with 60 fps on 7+ chunk rendering 0.5 resmolution for shadows and screen...
All i did was get an AMD graphics driver. They run video games way better than the mac Intel drivers do and i've had no issues with it at all. I installed it on my BOOTCAMP windows 8 partition but its installed to the driver partition so the AMD driver also runs my mac games as well. I bet there's also a way to install it through your OSX partition if u don't have windows, use google. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! GRAPHICS ARE IMPORTANT!
Nice list! Might want to include CYBOXshaders, not really good fps but mac compatible with high quality.
I REALLY wanted to, but your shaders was kinda laggy on my Mac. Luckily, I got an ASUS gaming computer and had the pleasure of personally and smoothly viewing your shaders! Excellent job, ranks as one of my top!

Thank you for the advice! I was desperate to use BootCamp to install Windows on my Mac, but I couldn't because of space and other unknown issues. Luckily, I just got a new ASUS so I have the pleasure of viewing all sorts of HD shaders!
