I will be getting a new PC with the following specs and I want you to tell me if these specs will be enough to run pixelmon 5.0.0 with Optifine at 30fps or more. Can you please help me?
It would help if you were more specific about a few things, like:
1. the video card - "Geforce GTX" could mean anything from a 7800 GTX (launched on June 22, 2005) to a GTX 1080 (launched on May 27, 2016)
2. the processor ("Intel Core i5" could mean anything from an i5-750 (launched in September 2009) to an i5-6600K (launched in August 2015)
3. planned resource/shader packs and Optifine settings (512x textures with SEUS Ultra shaders will have lower fps than default textures with "fast" Optifine settings and no shaders)
I'd say yes. I'm pretty sure Pixelmon can't be laggier than a modpack with 120 mods, and I have a computer with worse specs and can run that modpack at around 30 fps on fullscreen (although I have 3 optimization mods)

I got the new PC and tried Pixelmon with optifine, allocating 3GB of RAM to minecraft out of my 16GB, and I got this error:
error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for 3145728KB object heap
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release
Can someone help me?
EDIT: Forget it I fixed it and PIXELMON IS AT 60FPS!
