Is it possible to fly in infdev? I want to build a rail system way up in the air because my base is really tall, but it would take hours of falling, killing myself, and building one block every 10 minutes.
I used one long ago in some indev multiplayer...are you sure?
Indev multiplayer? There has never been indev multiplayer. Are you sure it wasn't creative mode? Because creative mode is the only Minecraft game mode with multiplayer (so far).
As far as I know, there's no regular mod that allows you to fly. I think you must have been using some type of external client in the past when you flew, AKA hacks. But I think we better not discuss those types of things too much, since it is against the forum rules
Figure out how to use a memory editor.
Hint: there's a value that tells if you're on the ground or not. Freeze it as always touching the ground, then you will be able to "jump" continuously.
Note: This value doesn't actually have a name, when you're looking for it. Good luck.

My Youtube channel.
Contains Pachebel's Canon made with noteblocks, a working Rubik's cube made with pistons, and the ultimate TNT cannon.
Anyway, I tried using Poke on minecraft (http://codefromthe70s.org/poke.aspx) but it froze my computer... The program's pretty old though; might not work on win7 or 64 bit, and theres probably better alternatives.
Is there any fly mods I can use

(I'm using it to build an elevated railway. Guess where.)

in an elevated area?

Turn the cheat off.
