Thank you! But I was really looking for someone's tutorial/example of actual usage. The Forge docs are written at too high of a Java level for someone who's never taken a class on Java... I figured it out using that page though eventually...so thank you again!
I want to make an energy system similar to the Grid Power in EU2. Their code is above me so this is my goal here:
The player can make a Power Source Block
Each placed block of that type increases the amount of power the player has.
The player needs x power blocks to power the smelting/grinding/etc block, so the code checks to see if the player owns enough power blocks.
The player can share with other players with a command.
The power blocks also have tiers of power, with certain machinery requiring a higher tier altogether.
Right now I used WorldSavedData to store all of this. It's pretty, but per world, not per player. Capabilities maybe??
What is the best way to store data per player and then make that data shareable?
Thanks for any help you can offer!
