I'm trying extending the abstract AENetworkPowerTile class, which is the base class for all AE2 network tile entities (like the controller, and interfaces). The class I'm extending AENetworkPowerTile with refuses to inherit from it and says it has inconsistent type hierarchy. does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this? Thx in advance.
Maybe i can only use the API? The thing is, I want to make a mod that generates structures related to AE2, and i want to make a tile entity called a broken controller (you can see where this is going, right?). I don't know if I can do what i want to do with the API code.
My 1st goal is to get the basic inheritance and structure of the code out of the way.
Then, I can start making changes, so question is, how to make it happen?
