The system is quite complex i just need a little help getting started. I'm not concerned with coding power storage power production power consumption as of yet, but the system itself. The system is a node based system with different nodes connecting blocks such as producers consumers or storage to a network. This is obviously not something that makes sense to ask for a tutorial on but any help or ideas with this system would be very much appreciated thank you!
I have created a power system in my mod, using RF, I highly suggest using the RF API because it allows cross-mod energy compatibility and also, it's not re-inventing the wheel. I'll be honest, my power transferring system isn't the best and might not even be good, but I think that you'll learn how to start at least. I know lots of mods that transfer power the same way and their systems are almost flawless. Here's my github for the code to it, it's quite difficult to read because I incorporated a lot of my own code samples and stuff, but maybe you'll get a tip or two, let me know if you even want me to explain it to you! I'll be happy to help!
P.S. Feel free to download my mod too and try out the system for yourself!
