I created a new mod that changes some of the base files which make it easier to access things like fire or a command block, without haveing to do /give. but everytime I try to install it, it doesn't work. please help!
things I know:
It works in eclipse
when installed to regular minecraft nothing happens(i.e. everything is exacly the same before installing the mod)
the mod ads command block to the redstone tab in the creative inventory.
this is a modloader mod
only line of code added:
package net.minecraft.src;
import java.util.Random;
public class BlockCommandBlock extends BlockContainer
{
public BlockCommandBlock(int par1)
{
super(par1, 184, Material.iron);
this.setCreativeTab(CreativeTabs.tabRedstone);
}
Maybe if you can Use a @Overide annotation and do what you did, except in a new class. I can't really help because I need to know those things up there ^.
It's like the gui above said impossible to say anything without more information.
1. Doesn't work - define "not working"! What does it do? does it crash? refuse to compile? etc.
2. Does it work in eclipse?
3. How is your code? Show us the codez!
4. If it crashes -> Show us the error/crash log(s)!
I'm a GUI? D: NUUU(Sorry, off topic)
Anyways yeah please put the code inside Code tags also because its alot easier for us to read it. Also again if there are any errors in your code then post those too. Good Luck
