So for a while now I've been thinking, you know how carpets go over blocks without being an entire new block, yeah, like that but with walls, the idea that prominently comes to my mind is paint. You could craft a paint brush a stick in the bottom middle row, then wood planks in the middle of the middle row with some hay or wheat in the middle of the top row, then you would take a paint brush, set it anywhere in the crafting table with dye of the players choice right next to it. The dye slowly ware out and eventually the paint brush would be blank with about 1/5 of it's use gone. You could use this on a fair amount of blocks, some would be planks, logs, quartz, bricks, etc. etc. And some blocks would be unpaintable, like hay or sand. This has probably been suggested before but I feel like it would help alot, thank you for reading, goodbye.
