- Some furniture so we don’t need mods as much. Such as bedside cabinets, kitchen cabinets, curtains, bunk beds, stuffed animals, opening/closing windows, toys.
More Nature Stuff (such as bushes, more fences, more bears, peacocks, hedgehogs, deer, more birds, as someone already said- butterflies, frogs.
- Bigger Selection of Food. Such as sodas, lemonade, tea, more cakes, sandwiches, more pie, fruit trees (you’d be able to get the fruit with shears), crackers, berries.
I would agree with some of the environmental stuff. Since the aquatic update I've taken to living on the sea as there is far more stuff going on and it feels more like a living environment compared to the land.
Personally I'm not keen on furniture simply because I like the challenge of making things with the stuff we have. Minecraft in essence is a blocky game and the creativity comes from using what's available. The best way I can think of explaining this is lego. When I was a kid, lego was basic and we used our imagination to create interesting things. Then lego became overly complicated adding parts that only had very specific uses. Now lego is more like buying a model kit. For me the beauty of minecraft is in the making of complex or beautiful things with the simplest of blocks. Somebody commented elsewhere on how they would like to be able to go back to very basic minecraft. Whilst I wouldn't go that far, I do think that there is a danger they could add too much stuff. I think that's where mods and add ons come into there own and add things that maybe a minority want, but allows the choice.
• Glass doors/Trapdoors: Not really keen on them. It makes sense for players to craft more elaborate things with wood and more rudimentary things with glass in Minecraft. It would be nice, however, to have oak* and iron doors have their currently open spaces replaced with (coloured) glass in a recipe that used (coloured) glass panels.
*Not jungle, nor acacia.
• Concrete slabs: This is actually a good idea. There is an interesting way this could be done, as proposed by StormDragon1969 in this recent thread by Dizzeebizzle.
• Furniture: I'm not keen on it either, but I could see it done if it fulfilled some gameplay purpose. For instance, ovens that can cook (only) food items more efficiently or faster than regular furnaces (this is not something I want, just an example on how furniture could have gameplay purposes). I guess windows would be fine as well.
• More nature stuff: yes, definitely. Minecraft could really use some improvement on its ambience. More animals and plants (and while at it, more biomes and better biome transitions) would really help with that.
• More food variety: well, while I agree with you because I think this would make the game more immersive, I don't necessarily agree with the examples provided. Soda does not fit Minecraft theme at all. I do, however, agree with tea (perhaps we could make better use of our Brewing Stands), more fruits/fruit trees and berries.
I would advice you now to focus on just on of these suggestions and develop it further in another topic of its own. I'd start with "more nature stuff".
Concrete Slabs and Stairs is a must have. All colors. There is a complete lack of stair and slab types and its frustrating. I use quartz stairs on white concrete which is the best I can do but if the texture actually matched, my builds would look a lot better.

I was thinking of these things that should be added to the game:
- Glass Doors/Trapdoors (that look somewhat like sliding glass doors irl)
- Concrete Slabs (red, orange, yellow, lime green, green, light blue, cyan, blue, pink, purple, magenta, black, white, light gray, brown)
- Some furniture so we don’t need mods as much. Such as bedside cabinets, kitchen cabinets, curtains, bunk beds, stuffed animals, opening/closing windows, toys.

I agree with you completely about furniture, like its so fun to make my own furniture

Hey, Thanks for the suggestion.
With various mods like:
"mrcrayfish furniture mod"
You can already add all of that stuff into the game. Instead of the developers making an entire version about it
Features of the mod.
-Food items like Stoves etc
- Normal house appliances
- Benches and Everything else
- More food
Hopefully, that answers your question
