1.) Different colored lights that give different colored tints to surrounding object!
2.) The ability to combine texture packs!!! For example: before starting a new world, youd be able to find an option somewhere to change the texture of blocks from the texture packs you have purchased to make some sort of custom texture pack. Like you can take a the City texture pack and Skyrim texture pack, choose which blocks from both texture packs that you want to add to your minecraft, and then start your world!
3.) More food recipes! Imagine having the ability to make salads, burgers, or ice cream and each one gave you more hunger saturation! Unleash your cheff (self)!
The second one i want bad because their are some blocks and mob skins that i really REALLY love but i refuse to buy their texture packs to get them because there are other skins in their texture packs that i absoluetly hate!!! Like in some texture packs i might dislike the wolves because they may look like rats, the carpet/wool may look like poop or the water that i like to use a lot when making pools and fountains is freaking green instead of blue. I just stick with city texture pack because it feels the best but if i was able to basically combine texture packs i would buy almost every single one that comes out!
Coloured lighting or colour change due to colour of glass would be really nice. I don't expect it to happen though unless it's planned as part of the super duper graphics dlc when it comes out. I can't remember if that was one of the features.

@Ghost00,
You bring up a great point about resource packs. The only real way around this is that if you were able to turn off/on textures/models for certain mobs/items or the resource packs have to be split up into smaller resource packs. As it stands now, the top most resource pack added to your world will have the most precedence.
To your point though, say I wanted the City Resource Pack, but I also want how the wolves look in another pack. The wolves model/texture would need to be packaged individually and also stacked on top of the City Resource Pack. This would essentially mean that your world will have all the blocks/items/models you would get in the City Pack, but you would also be modifying the wolves.
TLDR, this is possible, but only if the developers of said packs split up their modifications, instead of pushing them out as a packaged bundle.
I agree with the colored lights idea. There is a youtuber named Grian (He gives amazing building tutorials and I recommend that you subscribe to him) that suggested that same idea on one of his videos.
I'm super on board with the combining of different (but similar resolution) texture packs.
The biggest reason is that, as someone who's played the Java version for about a decade, I've gotten use to having ultimate creativity and freedom for free.
With this other version, there's no add-ons and very limited texture options which are pricy. I own several but none of them satisfy what I'm looking for.
There's several things about each that I like but quite a lot that I dislike...
I wish I could upload my own or mix them together...
They said on video I saw months back about the super duper coming with the ability to make different blocks emit light like glowstone does. The example they showed was with a green terracotta block. Also totally agree with the need for multiple texture packs or a custom one where you can only have one style for each block, but can choose it from any you have purchased. If you change said block it hanges all of that block already placed.
@Kohl Yea i hope that they do split up their modifications. I really would like to have some options to purchase individual blocks and such as usually in the current texture packs, theres only a few things i dislike. Like the nightmare before Christmas texture, i h8 the water but lovvvee everything else!
Thanks kohl and everyone else for your feedback! I had no clue that this got "any attention"
Sorry. Just got the update today that the Super Duper graphics isn't going to happen. That means no colored lights as of yet (if ever). This is a shame, as all of the videos showing off ray-tracing in Minecraft look absolutely amazeballs.
Yea this sucks, im beginning to question if minecraft needs more "money" support for the sup graphs pack.
Compared to other games, i spend 100 dollars or more on those games for cosmetics alone lol. Minecraft offers customization too, but it comes at to big of a price. Like instead of giving me a hat that i want, i have to have that hat attached to a skin that i dont like because its only attached to a "skin". Or texture packs, if i want to play with the wolves in the city texture pack, i also have to deal with everything else the City texture pack comes with like the ugly dolphins, turtles, and blocks. So its like ill just settle with my vanilla texture pack because it has more of what i want, and im sad dreaming of a day i could just purchase the wolf from the City texture pack and my world not be changed to all ugly city texture pack blocks...
I havent spent over 10 dollars in minecraft for years which is ridiculous for such FANTASTIC game! I feel like i should easily be spending 60 dollars a year atleast on this game lol
Whats worst is the texture packs and skin packs that they do realease are only like 1-7 dollars!! Ive spent 10 dollars just to buy colors (YES COLORS) in a game called warframe, and 100 of thousands of other people have done so as well in warframe. 1 to 7 dollars for a full pack of SKINS and TEXTURES??? So not only do many people not buy those texture packs for sacrifice reasons, the ones that do buy the packs arent spending much of anything lol
Like i understand they want to be nice but thats too nice. Id highly recommend the combined texture pack thing for players whove already bought texture packs and skins, and for those who havent make them buy less for more. Give em like 5 new blocks for a dollar, mobs cost 3 dollars per mob, remove all skins and start making us purchase things in parts like a dollar for a hat, a dollar for horns, a dollar for wings, a dollar leaving behind a snow trail when you walk, etc...
Just get in my wallet minecraft, we love you, get this cash just dont be too greedy

Combining texture packs could end up in lots of lag. But the colored lights is a good idea.

Fixed a few errors in the original post
