Please add volcano in Minecraft. Volcano will only spawn in the following biomes: Mountains, Taiga mountains, rock mountains, and more. (Volcano will be slightly rarer than villages.)
Oh that's an interesting thought! I can't imagine the amount of work that would go into putting something like that into the game, though... Would it erupt occasionally, or simply exist as a landscape structure? Just spawn as a mountain with a pool of lava in it? Also, what would be the benefit of putting that in the game? You can create something like that manually, so I should think if they were to put it in the game themselves, there would need to be something more to it than just a structure. Like... if volcanoes were like Mesa biomes in that more gemstone ore spawned with it. In and around it... it would be incentive for the player to mine in that area, while at the same time being more dangerous to do because of all the lava.
I think it would have to be a biome in its own right, rather than spawning in a biome. Obviously the biome would have lava and those magma blocks, obsidian, and yeah, maybe a higher chance of diamonds or emeralds spawning under. It should be quite a rare biome though.

Yeah, like how Mushroom Islands are super rare and really their own thing, right? It could feasibly be something to that effect.
I've always found it absurd that Minecraft doesn't have any volcanoes, and the lava is just lying around in waterhole-like structures. Adding volcanoes (as structures or biomes, I'm fine with both options), would be really cool, with diamonds and obsidian and all that. Certainly a new kind of challenge for the adventurous.

I support this idea.
