Hey all, so the crossbow just hit the bedrock beta, thought it would be great to show it off, go over some of the mechanics, and have a little fun with it. Let me just say, piercing enchantment is awesome! I point out some great news for us bedrockers… the piercing enchantment might make mob grinding from spawners and other mob grinders a lot easier!
Also, they supposedly fixed something with scaffolding, but it's only halfway fixed. I'll explain in the video. Enjoy the early look!
Thanks for the video. Cool to see the crossbow in action. I have an Infinity I, Flame II, Power V, Unbreaking III bow so don't think I will be using the crossbow too much. I don't use Mob Grinders and the mobs are so sparse that I don't see a benefit to using Multi Shot or Piercing. No Infinity is the deal breaker for me. Would be good to have a Mending crossbow for when my current OP bow breaks.

I think it may have some additional purposes we just haven't discovered yet. The rate of fire is actually quite nice. I can see with either spread shot or piercing being a great use of the different tipped arrows, as you will be able to use 1 arrow to put the effect on multiple mobs. For now though, it seem's, for fighting just 1 mob at a time, the regular bow is the best option... which is good... it would of been silly for them to make it obsolete.
