Hey so I'm new to redstone inventions but I have a basic understanding, I can make the flip flop T thing and that's pretty much it. What I want to do is make a way so I can click a button and a secret passage way appears or opens up using sticky pistons but then close back up after a second, I've gotten a button to act like a lever but I can't do any better than that. Any help would be amazing!
You would need a pulse extender. Something that will keep your door open and then close without you havign to do anything. Here's a video about pulse extenders.
So that's kinda what I want. Dang this is hard to explain, so when I use a button for redstone it only works to push things forward, if I use a button to power a sticky piston into pushing a block I just connect some redstone between them. What I want to be able to do is have the sticky piston in a extended form already, and then when I hit the button it recedes back revealing ideally a hidden passage. I just can't seem to figure it out. Also I'm on pocket edition so thanks for the video but ripπ sorry this prob is all really confusing.
I think redstone is still one of the things that differ the most between Java Minecraft and the other editions, so for specific circuitry you might be better off asking in the appropriate section of the forum, otherwise you might get suggested circuits that won't work for you.

Hi,

(If the Pocket edition is merged with Bedrock)
The basics should be the same though.
To reverse a signal connect the button to a block with a redstone torch on it and use the signal from the torch to power your piston.
Then the piston will be powered until you push the button and turn off the torch.
Just testing.
Ah okay sorry my bad. I'm new to this siteπ Okay sweet. I'll try it out. Thanks so much.
