So just started playing the new version of Minecraft on Xbox one (not the xboxe one version)
And I built a mob grinder that is basically a bigger version of the one I always build (because it has always worked really well for me) and I built 3 finished layers and decided to sit at the bottom where the mobs would drop down to be killed. I sat there for about 10 minutes and did not see a single mob so I checked each layer and not a single mob had even spawned in them. I know for a fact it's dark enough for mobs to spawn, the area around it is lit by torches, and the ceiling is 2 high so mobs should spawn yet they don't. And each layer has 884 spawn points. The basic shape is roughly 34x34
I just don't see the problem here.
Also I'm not on peaceful i am on hard and iIknow that since I can go up the ladder and see mobs on the surface.
