It's there a simple t flip flop that works reliably? I tried to build the one with 3 droppers and a Hopper but I can get it to work right. Are there any others?
I'll have to try and get a picture. But in short I have a repeater hitting the bottom dropper diagonal from the Hopper. It doesn't seem to activate like it does with a button. I think I had the same issue with the pulse extender you made but I can't remember how modified the input tomake it work correctly. I'm using the 2 hopper the torch "tower" now which seems to work. All this for a stupid 3 x 3 piston door.
So I created this circuit awhile back and it pretty much forces your t flip flop hopper design to function as a t flip flop. It's not really compact but if you're sick of dealing with this maybe it's what you need. I could even compact it for your specific application by moving everything over 1.

Have you thought about making an XOR gate? Its kind of like a 2 way hallway switch. Less costly and much more simple

Here's a really simple demo. Each lever will turn the redstone lamp on/off regardless of what position the other lever is, or which one was last used.
Unless it would work with a button that's not what I'm looking for.
