I am building a world with multiple mini games and has a server vibe to it. One of the games I am building is bed wars and I am having trouble automating it. I want to make it so anyone can play with other people while I'm offline. So far I have made it so that the game searches for 4-8 players in a set lobby. If true, it puts each person in an individual pod above an island to start the game. This is where I have trouble. The way I have it set up, I need to somehow tag or connect the person with the island they are on so that they respawn back at their island when they die and if their bed is broken, they respawn in a spectator ring. The commands right now are basically one impulse command that I activate with a button that is "spawnpoint @p …" and set spawn where I chose. Then for the bed mechanic I have a repeating command always active with a comparator next to it that is, "testforblock ~ ~ ~ bed". The comparator is on until the bed is broken. Then when the bed is broken, comparator turns off and a chain of commands, the first command testing for an unpowered comparator in that spot, sets the same player's new spawnpoint and displays a actionbar telling them they lost their bed. This can not be automated because I need to manually input their actual gamertag into the command. For example to change their spawn to the spectator ring the command is, "spawnpoint "Insert gamertag" …". This has to be done hence the gamertags. Is there a way around this? Is it possible to automated such a game in bedrock? This is the only issue I am running into any help would be awesome!
P.S. If I automated it as it is, I believe it wouldn't work because when the bed is broken, it will change the spawn of the 'closest' player to the command which may not be the right player.
