So far I have noticed that bud powering is not a thing and that redstone runs directly into pistons when near one automatically. Double piston extenders require different timings and there are a few circuits that also do not function the same as in java. Will these things ever be changed to how java works or are we stuck with how it is now?
No it will not, ever. The way I see it, they took things that were considered to be bugs or flaws in the game, and fixed them. Java never fixed them because a) it would ruin so much of their fan bases already built designs it would cause a revolt and I think the original java developers almost considered bugs like that part of the game and were ok with them.
In bedrock edition, with everyone starting from scratch, they didn't have to worry about interfering with already built contraptions, and they just have a different philosophy to unintended features or bugs, and they fix them immediately.
Well that sucks. That means we will never ever have anything like the creeper which was caused by a bug. That really cuts down on the player base who will play on it then since there are many people out there with an advanced understanding of redstone and having these kind of changes to the game will keep many from playing once they find it out.
