Hello, i was playing at 1.13-pre ant ran this command:
/execute as @e run execute if block ~ ~ ~ minecraft:water run effect give @s minecraft:poison 10 1
I used it on a wolrd with just me and two villagers, one in the water and other not. I spected that the villager in water would get poisoned, but nothing happened!! I tested the command with me on water and everybody got poisoned. I think if each entity executed the command and detected the block by itself would be better.
What does you think about it? I'm wrong?
Note: I'm not asking about how to make the water poisonous, only questioning the execute command.
