So, im trying to build a medieval city/kingdom and i want to make some kind of a Drawbridge, i tried making it with ropes to make it a little bit more realistic but the ropes break before i reach the fence.
If anyone knows a way to make them reach farther or a way to animate the bridge with command blocks that would be amazing.
This is how it looks right now i just want it to go into the wall there but with an animation not just teleport the blocks into the wall. also yes i use wurst just for the fast break.
I animate a lot of things. Idk if I am doing it the hard way but I would just build your bridge in each of the positions that you want and then I would just clone them In the order that you need them. Going up and down would be easy once you got the clones because each clone can be repeated twice to cover the open and close sequence. I do a lot of really nice doors and I just clone each spot that I want the players to see during the open/close.
Here is a simple video of how to animate a drawbridge. As you see I clone each individual position to the same paste location. Then I just have fill airs so I delete the prior positions. I mask all my clones so I do not interfere with the wall and destroy anything.
