We are RogueX, a small band of dedicated, mature-aged Minecrafters that play, build and socialize together. We are now opening the application process for the first time on our latest realm, named New Redgard, to allow new members to join our ranks.
Please be of mature age to apply. You must be 21 or older.
Please speak English fluently to apply.
Our realms are always run by a small team of OPs we call Advisors, who are responsible for general realm maintenance, dealing with any issues members have, and all decisions affecting the realm.
RogueX uses discord to communicate, so you will need an account. Please make sure your discord name is the same as your gamer tag (you can change it for each discord server). Voice is not completely necessary, but is nice, especially for group get-togethers and events.
We have a three stage application process.
1 - Complete the application form fully (link below), the more detailed answers you give, the better. This will then be collected by Advisors and be up for voting. If you pass our vote, then you move on to….
2 - Join our special discord channel for New Recruits, where you will meet the Advisory Team. We can have a friendly chat and find out more about you and your Minecrafting, and you can ask us any questions you may have about the realm. You will receive this invite via PM on the Forums, so do check your inbox regularly. If we decide to vote you onwards, then you move to....
3 - Spawnville! You will receive a realm invite from us and play in a special area of the realm for new members where you can build a home and add to the existing village if you wish. You may find some things a little limited there (for example, no nether portals allowed), but this is your chance to show us your stuff! You will also leave the Recruits discord channel and be added to the main one where you can talk with our full members.
From Spawnville, a third and final vote will decide whether you move to our main community area, Redgard Castle & District. This decision is based on playstyle, activity level and sociability both in-game and on discord.
Note: if things do not go your way at any stage of the process, you can be removed at any time without notice and without appeal. A reason for removal will normally always be given.
A little about the Realm
In New Redgard cheats are enabled (you will not be able to earn achievements) and we use them for a variety of reasons:
Some special Event areas make use of cheats to enhance their playability, and we host different events for the community mostly every week on a Sunday.
We control hostile mobs in some of the main community areas in the realm, so dark corners don't spawn uninvited guests! This also means there is no need to have everything completely lit up.
We do have a nether hub, but some areas can be better reached by teleportation command blocks, which you will find in use for certain things.
Spawnville and some other areas make use of barrier commands, which keep players to within a certain radius.
Full members may have a small-ish home in the Redgard Castle & District area, where there are also community farms and shops. Members may have one or more shops in the shopping district, and may sell the same thing as others if they wish to compete with them. Further out from the central area, full members can have a larger area which they can develop as they wish.

Mining under the main community area is strictly prohibited, and is also limited to surface / cave mining within a further radius beyond that. There are several designated mining areas for strip mining, and all biomes are available further out for various resources.
Redstone devices must be vetted for approval by the Advisory before you build them, we do not allow large scale redstone due to lag issues. Strictly no redstone devices within the central community area or Spawnville.
A little about our rules:
You will be able to read our rules in full when you become a member of the realm, you must agree to abide by these to continue playing with us. A few of our basic rules are:
Respect. This includes everyone in the realm and all things created by those people. Disrespect and griefing is not tolerated.
Active. We like it when our members log in and stay in touch. We have a Discord server and require a minimum level of activity to remain a member of RogueX. If you go inactive for a long time without giving a reason, or repeatedly tell us that you are still interested but then never play, you may be removed.
No Mods or Cheats at any time. No using Toolbox or other launching software. No using exploits to dupe items. Anyone caught cheating will be removed from the realm and discord, their builds on the realm will be removed in most cases.
No PvP at any time unless both parties have agreed beforehand!
No personal XP Grinders. There are community grinders available, so no need to create one.
Redstone devices that have been allowed must have an on/off switch and be switched off when not in use.
Build to suit the area, and please keep your design appealing to the eye. Any builds that do not fit the area will be removed if not modified first

Vozzar, thank you but we use a tried and tested method of running our realm, which has a lot of thought put into it and has served us well over several successful realms now. We are experienced, and know our commands, and know what we are doing
We like our application process, we want people to apply so we can get a feel for them. it is all part of our process. We are very picky about who gets onto the realm.
Trust is there for a good reason, and on purpose. We rely on our abilities to screen people using our judgement and trust those who have accepted the rules, and their maturity. We run a really good realm and are a close-knit community. Anyone who doesn't follow the rules has a lot to lose. It's all about the people and the community.
