A friend of mine is starting up a brand new realm. It is called Accelerated Survival. As of right now the realm isn't open to the public. But the discord channel is. I will post below alittle about the realm, and if this interests you, feel free to join the discord server!
For a TL:DR. Accelerated Survival is tweaks made to the survival experience using command blocks.
Teleportation: If your feet share the space with concrete powder you will be teleported to various locations around the map.

Larger item pick up range. Using a command block any item entities within 5 blocks of you will be teleported to you.
AFK Safety. If your feet share a space with a block of sand you will get a regeneration effect level 255 for 2 seconds making you instantly heal from all attacks.
Teleport items to a centralized location. If your feet share a space with a gravel block all items within 15 blocks of you will be teleported to a single area of @Game Operations Director choosing of which it will then be sorted.
Summoning lighting. If your feet share a space with a block of red sand all entities (including items but excluding players) will have a lighting bolt summoned at their location at the cost of the redsand block.
