Right now I Run server which is 24/7 and we've got around 10-12 active players on everyday. We are a kingdoms type server, where you govern your own kingdom, you Can claim as much land as you'd like, some claimed 100x1000 or so. Either way, we have an economy of trade booming (no plugins, good old trade) and railways to connect towns and cities. Theres a rule on the server you must build 500-1000 blocks away from someone else, this ensures a adventurous feel, that you might run into someone else's kingdom. Some players ventured out 43,000 blocks, up to you. However, this server is a survival server with no griefing, no stealing, etc. It's a very nice community of players who are build-oriented but we've got many explorers too.
There are groups currently forming in the server, showing how large it is, so in the future we could facilitate even more trade or businesses through different kingdoms or use a certain kingdom that's between two other kingdoms to use as a trade hub. The possibilities are endless. We have a few plugins but they are mostly /sethome or treecapitator to help facilitate building or exploring. The server is long term! MANY YEARS or decades. Please keep that in mind. It's like 2b2t except not anarchy, just exist for a long time.
