So my kid finds it disturbing when his dog dies, so I'm trying to respawn him if he dies. I've seen a lot of spawn tamed wolf posts and videos but they all seem to be Java. I've used the /testfor command to see if his named wolf is in the world , was going to put that into a command block with a second chain command block spawning the tamed wolf, so far I can only spawn a named wolf...pocket(mobile) edition

There is one other way to resolve this which is to have file backups through Bedrock Realms. That way if your kid's tamed wolf dies, you can just reload the last backup, which will essentially respawn the tamed wolf at the cost of some progress in the world.
