I am a new player to minecraft and was attempting to create an endermen farm identical to the one shown in a youtube video by Voltrox (link: )
However, when I created it my spawn rates are no where near what is shown in his video and in other endermen farm videos. I am getting maybe 5-6 endermen to spawn every minute. I am about 200 blocks away from the spawn island at the lowest level possible on the map, ive got an endermite in a mine cart. and have modeled my farm exactly after the one in the video. I am playing 1.14.3.
Was wondering if someone could give me some ideas/things im doing wrong. has an update slowed this farm that Im not aware of?
Also - I believe I am playing the bedrock edition. I am on a windows PC and do not see the Java edition sign under the minecraft title.
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
1.14.30 is the current version of Bedrock. The video you linked to was an enderman farm for Java.
There are enough differences between Java and Bedrock that many of the technical builds don’t transfer well or at all. When searching for tutorials for farms or grinders and such, you will need to include “bedrock” in the search.
There are some decent videos made by some of the people on Truly Bedrock. The best known is probably Silentwisperer. His enderman farm is a much larger undertaking than the one you referenced, though.
if you are after experience, then one of the best for Bedeock May be the new zero-tick pigman farm.
